Explore MeditationGerry completed a four-year Masters in Mindfulness-Based Teaching at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University in Wales, one of the most renowned institutions for mindfulness research and practice. Before this he was a Vice President in a large American entertainment company, working in this area for almost thirty years. He and his wife, Christina, now live in Vilanculos, Mozambique, where they run MindWise, offering mindfulness and yoga-based retreats, teaching mindfulness to local schoolchildren and developing other programmes. He also teaches and mentors online worldwide. Gerry teaches both secular mindfulness and meditations based on Buddhist psychology. His practice is the practice of finding the stillness and silence that lies within, this inner place of presence that is always available to us. Whatever your level of practice, you can gently begin to explore the nature of your mind with Gerry. He likes to take the mystery out of mindfulness and mindful meditation - there is nothing mysterious about getting to know your own mind.
