Good morning,
Darling.
Before the world asks anything of you,
Pause.
Find a comfortable seat or stay right where you are in bed,
On the couch,
Feet on the floor.
Let your shoulders soften,
Unclench your jaw.
Take a slow breath in through the nose,
And a long,
Easy exhale out the mouth.
Again,
Inhale like you're welcoming the day,
And exhale like you're releasing yesterday.
There's nowhere you need to rush to right now,
Just be here.
Bring your awareness to your body.
Notice where you feel awake,
And where you still feel tender,
Heavy,
Or slow.
Wiggle your fingers and toes just a little.
Let that movement remind you,
You're alive,
You're here,
And this day is still unwritten.
Feel the support beneath you,
The bed,
The chair,
The floor.
You don't have to earn your place here,
You already belong.
Now gently ask yourself,
With no judgment,
No fixing,
What kind of energy do I want to move with today?
Not what you need to accomplish,
Not the to-do list,
But how you want to feel while doing it.
Maybe it's calm,
Maybe it's confidence,
Maybe it's courage,
Maybe it's softness with a little edge.
Whatever shows up,
Let it be enough.
Imagine carrying that energy with you,
Into conversations,
Decisions,
And even the messy moments.
You don't have to do the day perfectly,
You just have to show up,
And you're already doing that.
Take a breath in through your nose,
And a long breath out through your mouth.
Feel the ground beneath you,
Feel yourself here,
Present,
Awake,
Enough.
Let this be the words you carry with you today,
I trust myself,
I can handle what comes.
Again gently,
I trust myself,
I can handle what comes.
You don't have to know every step,
You don't have to have it all figured out,
You just have to trust the person walking into the day,
And that person is you.
Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes,
Roll your shoulders,
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Go meet the day with quiet confidence,
Darling,
Steady,
Capable,
Ready.
