Everyone

Begin this guided meditation with a relaxing body sequence, using slow breathing to settle. From there, you’ll be guided through using your mind to practice motor movement in your arms and hands. This mental practice of using your hand is useful for neuroplasticity and motor planning in your brain. It is a deep mental rehearsal designed for mental stimulation of the motor cortex, motor planning, sensory feedback, and engagement in the environment. The slow pace of the movement is designed for anxiety and pain reduction. Visual Motor Imagery is a technique that is evidence-based for rehab, studied for conditions such as stroke, MS, CP, chronic pain, CRPS, athletic training, and much more. Please relax and enjoy. Disclaimer: This recording is for relaxation and self-care only and is not medical advice. This meditation is designed to be used in collaboration with a rehab protocol, not to replace it.
