Transcript

Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.

My name is Vivienne Girard,

And it is my delight to be guiding us in the first of the 2026 meditations,

This one for the full moon in Cancer.

As we settle into this space together,

I invite you to picture yourself walking into a virtual living room,

Sitting down in your seat,

Side by side in circle,

As we tune into the astrology together to guide this human experience.

Let us close our eyes and bring all of your attention into your body in this moment.

We are arriving here from the end of a very busy 2025,

From perhaps a very busy holiday season,

And it may take a little bit longer to actually bring all of your focus,

All of your attention into this one moment.

So begin by focusing on your breath.

As you breathe in,

Allow your breath to be long and slow and relax your body.

As you breathe out,

Exhale out any resistance,

Any overwhelm,

Any intensity to the feeling of time being rushed or pressured.

The transition between years can add to that.

So you exhale out the stress,

The overwhelm,

And then you slowly start to bring in through your inhale,

Calm,

Quiet,

Centeredness.

As you are focusing on your breath,

Imagine that you are magnetizing more and more of your consciousness,

Your energy,

Your soul,

Into this meditation time.

When your energy arrives into your body,

You simply guide it all the way down through your body to your feet and slowly start filling your body back up with you.

What we realize as we do that is how much other stuff is in our own space,

How much we are holding for the people around us that we care about,

For the collective humanity,

For the planet,

For the solar system.

Perhaps in this meditation time,

You can just call you into you.

And as you do that,

As you start to fill yourself up with you,

The stuff that is not yours will start to make its way out.

It's like when you put a stone or a big,

A small rock into a big glass of water.

The water starts to rise up and overflow from the top of the cup.

That is what happens when we call our attention back into our body.

It takes up more space and that which is not ours to hold can overflow out.

You can visualize that overflow just spilling out from your shoulders and falling down through your back,

Outside of your back to the ground.

Or perhaps you can visualize as your energy arrives in your body,

It pushes down through your feet,

Anything that is ready to go into the earth.

And the pressure of your attention,

Your energy coming into your body plunges out of you anything that is not yours to hold.

You might feel a releasing of energy through your feet as that intention is set.

Use your breath to exhale out and support the current,

The flow of energy that is leaving your body.

And then you imagine that you can seal your feet shut and start to call more of you into you,

Filling yourself up with your power,

Your consciousness,

Your wisdom,

Your energy.

You may find that your ears pop as that happens or your throat gets a tickle,

A bubble,

You cough,

You yawn,

Your eyes may leak or water.

It's energy moving as we fill ourselves up with our energy,

Our consciousness.

Relaxing your muscles as you do that.

It's not a forcing ourselves to be here,

It's an invitation to come home,

The soul into the body that it chose for this human journey.

We relax the muscles and allow it to be a sweet homecoming.

A remembering,

Oh,

That's right,

This is the body that I chose and it was with great purpose,

With very clear intention for how the body would serve this human journey.

So allow your body to welcome your consciousness,

The muscles relaxing and the breath sighing,

Exhaling with pleasure and the mind starting to focus on what is happening in the body.

When we are not in fight or flight or freeze,

When we are simply present,

The mind is able to harmonize with the body in a way that may feel new or that may finally feel familiar.

It is not meditating to send the mind into exile,

It's meditating to find the way,

The place,

The practice where the mind and the body and the soul harmonize together,

Where the heart can relax and feel safe.

At this full moon in cancer,

The heart is likely to feel more and more.

The feeling may be good,

If we use the words good or bad to attach to feelings.

It may feel warm and relaxing inside of your heart space.

It may feel like you want to hug yourself at this full moon in cancer or hug everyone around you.

Hug the world and shower it with love,

With forgiveness,

With compassion.

Or it may feel too intense in the heart.

The full moon in cancer may feel uncomfortable.

And so the mind and the body and the soul can create a safe space for us to explore the heart,

For us to simply be with the heart.

The beauty of meditating in a community energy is that we come into coherence as a heart-centered community.

Which creates more safety.

Which reminds us that in this human journey,

We are never actually journeying alone.

Our mind may like to tell us that.

And there may be moments,

Many moments,

Where we are physically alone.

But the moment we choose to meditate together,

To bring our awareness internally,

Inward,

Inside,

Our heart remembers that we are all actually one collective humanity.

One community of souls choosing to be in this energy field that we call earth.

And we start to remember that the earth holds us in a heart coherence.

That the earth's heartbeat,

Literally the oxygen,

The air pulsing in this heart,

This energy field of earth,

Is a resonance that we can connect with,

That we can calibrate to.

In meditation,

It is easier to remember,

To feel this heartbeat that we all share.

I imagine it is how the baby feels in the womb.

There is a constant heartbeat that the baby can relax into,

Can attune to.

And it continues until the baby enters the life's experience through birth.

As souls choosing human journeys,

That heartbeat with Gaia ends with death when we complete our journey.

And so now,

Today,

In this moment,

In any moment,

While we are alive,

We can simply tune to the heartbeat of Gaia.

We can feel it in the cycles of nature,

In the rhythm of the days,

In the seasons that we move through.

There is a constant regeneration,

Recycling that is happening.

That is the energy I feel for us at this full moon in cancer.

We are remembering the cycles.

We are aligning with the energy of the seasons.

There is a season that is completing.

A big cosmic season with the outer planets all shifting into new signs.

And in this moment,

We are sitting right at the cusp of the changing of the seasons.

It can feel unsettling.

It can feel like we are going back and forth,

Like in the Midwest here in Ohio,

When we have a warm day in autumn,

And the next day it's cold,

And then the next day it's warm,

And we can't quite find our rhythm.

We're in the time of the change.

Knowing that the next season is arriving,

And it will be more predictable,

Perhaps,

Once we make that transition.

Notice what happens in your body as I name all of this for your mind.

It is okay to feel uncomfortable when energies are shifting.

And so we breathe into the moment.

We relax our muscles.

We allow ourselves to feel how we're all going through this shift.

We allow ourselves to shift together.

And then we come to the heart space.

What does your heart need at this time of transition?

This is the full moon in cancer applied to you.

The nurturing,

The care,

The compassion,

The reverence for the beauty of who you are.

What do you need at this moment?

Relaxing your muscles.

And how do you give that to yourself?

Perhaps you need more time to be still.

Perhaps you need to ask for conversations,

Hugs,

Nourishing meals from those around you.

Perhaps you need to move,

To dance,

To sing.

To write,

To create.

Trust what your soul,

Your body,

Your mind are showing you most serves you at this full moon in cancer.

2026 is going to move quickly.

As the outer planets shift into their signs in powerful big ways,

Two of them in Aries in just a few weeks,

We will feel the momentum increasing.

And this moment,

This cocoon of time right now is yours to be in the anticipation,

The preparation,

The delight of knowing magic is ahead and you know the magic is ahead.

Breathe.

And then one more time,

Notice what does your body need?

Anything else that comes to your awareness?

If your mouth is dry,

Your body may be signaling that you need more water.

Notice how aware,

Attentive your mind is as you listen to your body.

The mind is a resource,

A tool for our human experience.

It is a practice that we master.

Like a tradesman learning the tools.

And meditation offers us this powerful alignment where the mind works with the body,

The heart,

The soul.

We acknowledge,

We celebrate the role of the mind in this moment.

As we move into 2026,

The mind can become a sharp tool,

A precise instrument to support all that we dream of for 2026 and beyond.

And each time we practice in meditation in this way,

We refine our mastery with the mind.

So be proud,

Be proud of what you are creating for yourself in this meditation time.

Feet firmly planted on the ground,

Feel how much of your consciousness,

Your energy is in your body in this moment.

Feel how relaxed your body is,

How calm your heart feels,

How focused your mind is.

This is a powerful way to step into this new year of 2026.

And so I meet you in this moment with so much love from my heart beaming to yours.

Creating this beautiful community container where we synchronize,

We come into coherence in our hearts in this way.

As you feel ready,

Open your eyes and just focus on one thing in front of you.

So I am holding this white and black smoky quartz in my hand.

I'm wiggling my fingers,

Starting to wiggle my toes.

So perhaps you want to do the same and allow yourself to really start to come back into full awareness in this physical environment in which you have been meditating and allow the experience that you feel inside to merge and harmonize with what you see with your eyes externally.

In 2026,

It is going to become more blended.

The lines between what we see and what we visualize and what we're actually creating will speed up,

Will harmonize in ways that will be profound.

And meditation is the key.

So I celebrate that you meditate and I look forward to us meditating many times together in this new year.

Thank you ! This year has started of with a bang! I have felt being tested already. Lol This 0' Aries rising, scorpio sun cappy moon has been frantically working on the book. My goal is for Feb 20. Almost done with edits! ❤️
