Krista is a CYT-500, and is trained in: Yoga Basics, Vinyasa, Yin-Restorative, Meditation, Pranayama, Anatomy, Physiology, Subtle Anatomy, Chakras, Yin/Yang Concepts, Yoga Philosophy and Raja Yoga (8 limbs), Yogic Lifestyle and Values, Ahimsic Food Prep, prenatal/postnatal yoga, chair Yoga, visual yoga, kids yoga and more. Krista loves traveling, spending time in nature, painting, and being active. Krista found yoga for the physical benefits, but realized it’s much more than that. She made the decision to become a yoga teacher to share the many benefits, and community of yoga, with others. Krista has received degrees in Psychology, and Social Work. Krista believes yoga opens another avenue to self-care, self-regulation, mindfulness, and healing. Krista follows The 8 Limbs of Yoga, and is certified through World Peace Yoga. Krista has attended various spiritual events, and retreats to deepen her personal practice including in Mexico, and Thailand. Krista is certified in Thai Yoga Massage as well. Krista takes a person-centered approach believing every individual is unique from their past experiences, their beliefs/values, and even their bone structure, and how their bodies move, and bend.
