In addition to hundreds of hours of yoga teacher training, Megan has worked as a public school teacher for over 15 years and taught English in Spain, for three years. What was intended to be a one-year experience living abroad in her late thirties ended up being three years as it allowed her to step outside the competitive, fast-paced culture she had been immersed in for most of her life. What she gained most from this time abroad was the absolute importance of slowing down, turning inward, and reconnecting with one’s true nature.
