
Emotional Healing - Come Home To Yourself
You are safe, you are home, and your journey to everlasting joy awaits. In this guided meditation, we touch on our profound innate power for self-healing, where we unlock the boundless potential within ourselves to overcome depression, anxiety, and any difficult emotions. We will affirm three transformative mantras to guide our way back to a place of grace, self-love, and serenity, even in life's most challenging moments.

Hey there friends,
Thanks for joining me today.
As someone who struggled with depression and anxiety for a period of my life and relied on anxiety meds to get through the day,
It truly is an honor and privilege to be able to share this meditation with you today.
Mental pain can feel like a heavy weight,
Pinning us down and leaving us helpless and lonely,
But I firmly believe it is possible to find healing within ourselves.
For me,
Finding meditation led me down a path of finding the power to take refuge and experience peace within the very depths of my own being,
Which has truly been life changing.
This idea of empowering oneself to overcome any internal hardship like depression,
Anger,
Self-aversion,
Or just general life dissatisfaction is near and dear to my heart.
It has become part of my life's work.
To pay it forward and help others realize that we all have the power to consciously create the life we desire is truly a gift.
So in this meditation,
We will explore together how we can guide ourselves back to grace and self-love and find our way back home to joy when we feel pinned down by life.
I'm going to guide you through a series of three mantras that have really helped me during some of the toughest moments of my life.
So I invite you to find a comfortable position in whatever way gives you the stillness and calm you need right now and makes it natural for you to connect with the innermost parts of yourself.
So if you'd like to sit,
Please sit.
If you prefer to lie down,
Please do so.
If you feel like curling up in a blanket with your favorite pillow,
By all means,
All are welcome.
You can start by just resting into your breath.
As your body exhales,
In your mind,
See yourself in your most relaxed state.
See what that looks like and imagine any stress or tension you might be holding onto is gently evaporating from your body.
And with each breath,
Just rest further into the gentle flow of the cleansing energy moving in and any stress or worries floating out.
There's no rush here.
Rest deeply.
Rest slowly.
As you continue to rest into your breath,
Place your hands on your heart.
As you inhale,
Imagine your heart is filling up with a golden light of love,
With peace and with acceptance.
As you continue to breathe through your heart,
We are going to do some self-havening,
Which is a therapy that has been scientifically proven to be a trigger for the brain to send a signal to the body that it is safe and it can relax.
So cross your arms across your chest and put each hand below the opposite arm's shoulder,
Almost like you are hugging yourself,
And begin gently rubbing the sides of your arms in a back and forth motion.
You can think of it like you are rocking a baby to sleep,
Except you're that baby.
Keep doing this,
Allowing yourself to feel comforted and safe.
This will take us into our first mantra.
As you continue to rub your arms,
I want you to gently focus on the mantra,
I am home,
I am home,
I am home.
You can repeat this phrase silently to yourself or whisper it out loud,
I am home,
I am home.
Let it be faint and as you say it,
Keep rubbing your arms gently and feel the warmth and safety of home,
In whatever way the word home means to you.
Home is any place or state of being where we feel loved,
Accepted and safe.
It is a place where we can let go of our worries and be ourselves.
It can be with others,
But it also can be when you are spending time with yourself.
I am home,
I am home.
As you continue to repeat this mantra,
Imagine yourself surrounded by a warm glowing comforting light and feeling yourself being embraced by it,
The love and safety of home,
I am home.
Now as we move into our second mantra,
You can gently stop rubbing your arms and relax your hands.
Call your attention to your feet on the floor.
As if you are lying down,
Feel the connection of your body to the surface beneath you.
Feel yourself connected to the earth below you.
Focus on this connection as if you are grounding yourself into the heart of our beautiful planet.
As you immerse yourself into this connection with mother earth,
Imagine a white golden light is coming down from the sky and pouring right into the crown of your head.
See this light as the universe's love for you,
And with this connection of your body to the earth below you and this light of love from the universe above you,
Start to gently repeat the phrase either silently in your mind or out loud,
Love above,
Calmness below.
Love above,
Calmness below.
As you say love above,
You can imagine a beautiful sky above you filled with love and compassion shining down on you,
Filling your entire mind and body.
As you say calmness below,
Imagine the calmness and serenity from the earth below you is getting infused through your feet and merging with the love above you from the universe and flooding your entire body.
As you continue to repeat this mantra,
Feel yourself becoming more and more calm and centered while allowing yourself to fill up with this feeling of being loved and cared for by the universe.
Love above,
Calmness below.
Love above,
Calmness.
Hear it as a faint gentle whisper,
Directly from mother earth herself and universal divine source,
Whispering gently and beautifully in your ear.
Love above,
Calmness.
Love above,
Calmness below.
Now that we are absorbed and protected by the love from divine source and the peace from mother earth,
We move to our final healing mantra so we can remember who we really are.
Repeat kindly and lovingly to yourself or out loud.
I am an infinite being of love and serenity.
I am,
I am infinite being of love and serenity.
I am an infinite being of love and serenity.
As you repeat these words,
Allow them to reverberate through your entire being and imagine what they mean to you.
How does it feel to say these words?
To know you are indeed an infinite being of love and serenity?
What does that signify?
How does it resonate?
I am an infinite being.
That means you are boundless and timeless,
Imperishable,
Elusive to concepts and labels.
You are an eternal actuality that was never born and that will never die.
I am an infinite being of love.
This points to your true nature,
The universal life force that is shining down on you and flowing through and animating every fiber of creation.
It is the foundation upon which the universe is built and by extension,
It is the foundation upon which you are built.
You are fully made of this energy.
You are fully one with this energy.
Love is indeed the very essence of your being.
I am an infinite being of love and serenity.
Just like you are an individuation of the universe,
Of love itself,
You are also a child of Mother Earth.
And at its core,
Right beneath you,
The Earth is the epicenter of calmness,
Peace,
Serenity.
This pureness of energy from the Earth is connected to the very energy pumping your heart,
Breathing air in and out of your lungs.
It is why through our hearts and through our breath,
We can always arrive at grace and find peace.
So just like love,
Serenity is your true nature.
Let's say it together.
I am an infinite being of love and serenity.
I am an infinite being of love and serenity.
Embrace the gentle repetition.
Allow each word outpour from your heart,
Gently washing away any notions of the contrary and that don't align with this sacred truth.
So conscious creators,
Beautiful souls,
Within this quiet stillness,
I invite you to sit and reflect on these mantras and everything you just affirmed.
How might you embrace them and let them carry you along your path,
Knowing that no matter what storm you record in,
You can always return to the love inside you to guide you back home.
That no matter how lost or gripped by sadness,
Fear or anguish you may feel,
You have the power to pick yourself up in love and begin again.
And you can extend compassion and understanding to yourself in the process.
Take a moment to honor yourself for just being here,
For just showing up for yourself.
Know that you are always held,
Supported and cherished by the infinite wellspring of love and goodness within you.
So in your own time,
You can gently ground yourself back into the room that you are in,
Feeling the connection between your body and the space around you and taking in one last deep revitalizing breath from the depths of your feet all the way through the light of your heart up to the crown of your head.

You are home and you are loved.
