Hello,

My name is Anshar.

Thank you for meditating with me.

Get yourself into a nice comfortable position,

Somewhere that you won't be disturbed for about half an hour and just close your eyes.

Just spend a little time feeling yourself in your body.

So often we get caught up in thinking about what's been happening or what's going to happen in the future.

And one way to really bring ourselves right back to the present is to just sense where you can feel the pressure or sensation of touch on your skin,

On your body.

So start by focusing on where you can feel pressure,

Maybe where the chair is holding you,

On your back,

On your buttocks.

Can you feel any clothes on your body?

Maybe you can't feel them unless you move.

Is there any sensation of a gentle breeze against your skin?

Now just drop into your body a little bit more deeply and focus on your breathing.

Allow any sounds in the background just to be there.

And notice whether you're breathing in the top of your chest or whether you're breathing all the way down into your belly.

There's no need to try and slow down your breathing,

Just breathe normally.

But maybe take two or three really big deep breaths and sigh out any tension,

Whether it's physical,

Feel your shoulders dropping,

Feel your hands relaxing,

Feel the muscles in your legs just softening.

Take in another deep breath and sigh out any emotions that you don't wish to bring into the meditation with you.

Or maybe just let them be there and notice where they're playing out on your body.

Taking in another deep breath and just let out any thoughts that are trying to distract you,

Bringing yourself back to your breathing.

And any time you find your mind is wandering,

Just bring yourself back to your breathing and watch as the air comes in through your nostrils,

Fills your body and leaves.

And feel yourself really grounded in your beautiful physical home which is your body that is made up of the stuff that is found all around the planet,

Carbon,

Hydrogen,

Oxygen,

Water,

Minerals,

Iron which is in the hemoglobin of your blood cells.

Each cell has iron at the centre of it and as you breathe the blood flows around and through your veins and arteries is pumped through your heart.

It picks up oxygen in the lungs,

Delivers it to the cells and the iron did not originally exist in the galaxy.

It's made by stars.

So you're made from the earth and also you contain pieces from the stars in a very physical way.

So let yourself feel that connection,

Sense it however it comes to you as you sit in your body and breathe,

Grounded in your body,

Connected to the earth and as you breathe allow your mind to feel that connection with the breath as you breathe in the air that comes from all around you.

It fills you and as you breathe out your breath goes out into the world to your localised space and your heart beats with the rhythm and all your cells vibrate.

Everything is vibrating.

Everything has a resonance.

If you get really still maybe you can sense or imagine all of your cells vibrating at their own rhythm in tune with the rhythm of the universe just while you sit in your body grounded on the earth and allow your mind to flow out from your body with your breath maybe with a sense of vibration with that connectedness to all things through the breath,

Through sound,

Through vibration.

Let your mind expand.

Let your breath become an infinite breath breathing in tune with the universe,

Mingling with light,

Vibrating with sounds,

Flowing out to your room,

Flowing down into the earth to the planet,

Flowing out into the garden,

Into nature.

Allow that part of you to flow out as far as you wish.

Maybe it flows out around your neighbourhood,

Your state,

Your country feeling and sensing all of nature alive,

Vital,

Acknowledging your presence even in the subtlest of ways,

Enveloping the whole planet now,

Spreading out into space,

Encompassing the moon,

Maybe sensing the surface of the moon and allowing your awareness to expand through the solar system,

Passing the sun which is at the centre of the solar system,

Feeling its vibrancy,

The big generator of so much that feeds our planet from a distance with light,

Heat,

Elements that it generates.

How far can you expand your awareness?

Perhaps to the edge of this galaxy,

Perhaps to other galaxies.

You may become aware of life forms along the way.

I'll leave you for a while as you travel safely even while you're sitting in your body,

Connected with your breath to all things,

Expanding outwards with your mind in space and maybe even time and I'll call you back when it's time to return.

So let's do this.

You you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you so wherever you are in the universe allow yourself to gently start returning you may get a sense of the benevolence of the universe it may have a message for you from its very large perspective if it does,

If it could speak to you,

What would it be saying right now?

And as you listen and feel the impressions of the universe allow yourself to be carried back to the solar system on the in-breath and out-breath of the universe ride the gentle waves of universal breath back to the solar system past the outer planets with their many different types of moons returning closer until you come back to the beautiful blue shining magnificent planet the third planet from the sun and as you get closer you notice the puffy white clouds maybe you notice part of it is in darkness and part of it is in daytime coming back now,

Entering the atmosphere gently descending to your country,

Your state making your way back to your town the area around your house bringing your awareness back as you breathe in bring it all back in a nice sphere all around you so your awareness fills just the room that you're in and as you breathe in,

Your awareness comes back until it is just around your body notice the sensations in your body and bring your consciousness all the way back into the centre of your head as if it is filled with light dropping down into your heart space where you can feel the breath entering and leaving your lungs and the connection with all of life and the connection with the blood that is flowing through your veins and all of your body,

Feel the cells in your body feel yourself really grounded back as you breathe and take a few big deep breaths moving your fingers and toes and maybe when you're ready,

Take a nice big stretch really feeling the muscles stretching and feel yourself right back in your body and when you're ready,
