What if today you could be your own ally, friend and wise, loving guide? That invitation is there for all of us, but sometimes it can be hard to access through layers of self-doubt, self-criticism and soaking up other peoples' energies. With this meditation and its powerful affirmations, you can start the day affirming your desire and intention to fully support yourself, be good to yourself, and navigate whatever comes, having your own back. You can also use this meditation any time you need to come home to yourself during the day.

Take a few moments to create space for yourself to receive these affirmations of being on your own side.

Breathe in deeply and as you exhale let go of any tension.

Feel yourself landing,

Arriving.

Taking some breaths into precious you right now.

Feeling that reunion,

That homecoming as you reconnect.

And then connect to your body.

You have a physical body and an energy body,

A presence.

Sense your presence and can you make that presence sacred in your own mind,

Your own feeling.

Imagine and feel that you have roots in your body that anchor down into the earth.

So that you can feel her strength beneath you.

Feel that you're rooted in the love and wisdom of the earth.

That you belong and that the earth is sending up energy through your roots,

Meeting your energy.

The wisdom of the body of the earth meeting your wisdom body.

Connecting with your breathing.

Take a big breath in,

Lifting up to your crown,

Imagining drawing energy up your spine to the top of your head.

And then as you exhale sending breath down into your roots.

Let everything settle down into the support underneath you,

Anchoring.

Take another breath like that,

Inhaling up to the crown and exhaling down into your roots.

Softening everything as it gently falls to earth.

Beginning the affirmations.

Today I am on my own side completely.

Where I belong.

Where I am meant to be.

I wake up to a new day to love,

Accept and support myself.

I love and approve of myself just the way I am.

I love and believe in the person that lives in my body and carries me through the day.

I embrace my light,

My work and all of that I share.

I revoke the permission to ever hurt or criticize myself again.

I love the person I am as well as the one I am becoming.

I let go of judgment and fill that space with love and understanding.

I am gentle and kind with myself and recover from mistakes gracefully.

I am a unique gift to this world and delight in sharing this gift.

I am learning and growing even through difficult times.

I am doing my best and that is enough.

I release all self-doubt now and flow freely towards self-love.

Take a big breath in,

Exhale all that old self-doubt.

Take another big breath in and allow love to flow freely into you permeating every cell.

Feel your strong roots again.

Lift your chin and feel the flow of energy at your crown.

You are golden.

See yourself through a lens of love and unity.

Today I am on my own side no matter what.

Just letting these words settle in your body.

Our body hears every word we say to it and operates accordingly.

It is like we are giving ourselves an instruction booklet to guide us.

Feel pleased,

Feel empowered that you have taken your own power to be on your own side and nowhere else.

Nowhere against yourself.

You might take one hand to your chest to your heart space and the other hand you can have your palm open to the sky and just take a deep breath in here and a full breath out.

Feeling your presence,

Feeling your energy and feeling how you have opened yourself up to the energy of the universe which also has your back is on your side.

And you are now attracting into your day all of those things which are naturally aligned for you when you are standing in this power,

This support,

This wonderful belonging.

One more breath here.

Let it all go.

When you are ready you might smile yourself back into presence.

Looking around slowly.

Greeting the space,

The day,

The life around you with fresh eyes and a fresh heart.

And from this strong foundation get ready to take your next step into the day.

Loved this! I even fell asleep, listening to it last night!
