My name is Amanda and I would love to guide you through a short but powerful meditation practice with the intention of expanding the love and protection that surrounds you.
I invite you to close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your belly with air.
All the way in and when you get to the top,
Can't take in any more air.
Slowly and gently exhale and let it all out.
Now do that again.
Inhale all the way in through your nose,
Filling up your lungs,
Your belly,
All the way down to your sit bones.
And when you get to the top,
Take in another slight sip of air and slowly and gently exhale back out through your nose.
Now we'll do that deep breath one more time.
Inhale through your nose,
Feeling the air as it comes in,
Filling up the lungs and the belly,
Holding at the top,
Holding and this time as you exhale,
Imagine letting go of any tension you're holding onto just by 10%.
Allow yourself to feel 10% more relaxed as you exhale.
And maybe that means dropping your shoulders,
Allowing your jaw to relax and just doing a scan of your body and if you feel anything tense,
To see if you can soften that area just a little bit more.
Feel the support of whatever's beneath you,
Whether you're sitting down or lying down.
Really become aware of the earth supporting you.
Feel the connection to Mother Earth.
Right here.
Right now.
And if you notice your mind start to wander,
Just do your best to bring it back to your breath.
Use your breath as your anchor.
And now I'd like you to imagine that you're on your favorite beach.
This is the place that you absolutely love to go.
And you're surrounded by everyone that you love the most.
All the cherished people in your life are there surrounding you.
And you just notice and feel the love and support with all of your loved ones around you.
You notice your toes in the sand.
The sun is on your face.
And in this moment,
You just allow yourself to take a deep breath,
Exhale and just relax 10% more.
You feel calm here.
You feel grounded.
You feel at ease.
And you notice that every cell in your body is feeling peace and love.
And now come back to this room and place your hands over your heart.
And emanating from your heart is a white light.
And this light starts to grow and expand.
And soon this pure white light is surrounding you.
It's a protective shield.
Just feel the presence of this white light.
Feel this white light surrounding you.
Feel it glowing.
And with your hands still over your heart,
Feeling that energy from your heart space,
You can repeat these affirmations out loud or in your mind.
But really feel them as I say them.
May I feel peaceful.
May I feel safe.
May I feel loved.
I am here and I am safe.
I am divinely protected.
I am able to withstand all storms.
I am able to let go of fear and trust that I am eternally safe.
I am patient with myself.
I am surrounded by love.
I am centered and grounded.
I am loved.
I choose peace.
I am resilient.
I am strong.
I have so much love in my heart to give and receive.
I am grateful.
Now you may open your eyes and I just want you to know how loved you are and how special you are and how much you mean to so many people.
I hope you listen to this again and just know that often it's the deepest pain which empowers you to grow into your highest self.
