One of the things that dare I say suffer with even after healing and being acquainted with healing and knowing that healing is a journey and doing this for two to three years now that I am totally embodying the healing journey,
The higher self,
The connection to me showing up and doing like breathing yoga and all of that beauty is that I still somehow don't know how to love,
To totally and fully love my body.
This is something we haven't been taught,
You know,
We didn't learn how to love our bodies,
We didn't learn how to fulfill that hunger,
That intimacy,
That connection with ourselves.
We just kind of rush into the next relationship hoping that everything is gonna just lead us to the perfect intimacy,
The perfect showing up for them and not for ourselves but it's just something that contradicts with all the spiritual beliefs that we have been learning.
It's like show up for you and then with the overflow that you have,
Fill your cup.
With the overflow you can serve others.
If you are in deficit,
Why are you rushing to have the next person come into your life and take care of them?
And I think that is something us,
Especially spiritual people who are on a healing journey,
We have to really be aware of our energy.
We have to be aware of our relationship with our body.
I think this has not been super demonstrated enough.
We've been sitting with ourselves in these meditations,
We've been really sitting with our mind and that's an amazing thing.
What about your body?
Have you ever done a whole session where you just looked at yourself in the mirror and said,
I look good,
I love me for who I am,
I love my body cells,
I bless my body,
Every single part of it.
I bless my feet,
I bless my knees,
I bless.
.
.
Have we done these practices?
Have we put some time,
Invested some time in ourselves?
I know that it's good to eat healthy.
I know that it goddamn feels great to go and do some sports and work out,
But have we visited the reasons why we do it?
Because there's so much stigma,
There's so much discoloration around working out and around showing up and around doing the things that we do.
Because if you are not revisiting the reason why you're doing things,
You might fall back to the default state,
Which we all know it's not a goody-goody,
It's an oldie but not goodie.
It's something we've been all taught that you work out to have an amazing body,
Blah blah,
Then you eat healthy because you don't want to be bloated and you want to have this pitch,
You know,
This perfect image in front of others and we're kind of using this.
What are we doing?
Right?
So we have to come back to ourselves and to really ask us to really connect with us.
I know it can be difficult.
I know it can be so difficult to deny that we have been doing this to ourselves all of these years,
But we can just come back to our body and be like,
Yo,
Why am I working out for?
Why am I doing all of these miles?
Why am I doing all of this soul cycle?
Is it because I am still trying to accommodate that body image that people have out there,
You know,
That workout to be skinny and blah blah blah?
Am I still in that realm?
Am I still there?
I have to still come back to myself and ask myself those questions because trust me,
I've been doing this for two,
Three years right now that I am on my spiritual journey and I knew that,
Damn,
Something has to change.
I mean,
I haven't been loving myself.
I haven't been loving my body.
I've just been showing up for the image that culture wants me to embody.
That image,
That perfect yogi,
Whatever,
And showing up with my mugs and whatever.
But what's the point?
What's the point?
What's the point if I'm not in love with me?
What is the point if I don't love my bits to like,
To death?
I love my bits to death.
Like,
That's it.
I just love every single part of me.
And then starting from there and wherever that takes you,
You follow that because sometimes our bodies can stop.
Sometimes our bodies can just be like,
No,
Sis,
You're not going to go on that on that run,
On that jog or whatever.
I'm tired today.
What is the dialogue that day that you sit down and you're not working out and you're not,
You know,
What if that day you ate a chocolate cake and now you're a bad person,
Right?
Now we're going to go back to the old,
Old but gold old mechanism of everything.
I noticed,
And this is just me talking from my own experience,
But these are serious,
Serious topics.
If you are on this healing journey,
If you really want to work on you to really love you and to really attract those opportunities to you,
If you really want to get to where you are meant to be,
You have to show up fully in love with your body.
Fully,
Honey,
Fully.
There's no,
I don't like this about me or I still have a little bit of fat on this one.
I struggle with this.
No,
Let's stop with that bullshit.
Somebody told us that and we just,
We just,
We just took it in.
Let's,
Let's let it go.
Let's let it go for a second.
Your body is just perfect.
And let me tell you one thing.
If you can learn anything from nature,
Does any tree look like another tree?
Never.
They're all different.
They all have their own curves.
They all have their own tilts.
They all have their own papers.
They're,
They're all over the place and they are still beautiful.
Now,
Why did we develop that type of judgment towards trees and not towards their bodies?
Let me tell you why.
Well,
Because society or culture or you name it,
We were told that trees are beautiful just the way they are because we don't give so much about them,
But we have to be perfect.
We have to be this,
This amount of that.
And we have to look this certain way,
Especially if you keep scrolling on social media,
You're going to be programmed,
Baby.
Yes,
You're going to be programmed to just look at your own flaws.
You're never going to look at the good stuff about you.
You're just going to start looking at your own flaws.
And that's when the disaster is coming in.
It's because you will struggle to find the beautiful things about yourself anymore,
Because come on,
Let's face it.
I'll,
I'll give you a small secret.
Um,
When I,
When I stopped using social media and why I stopped using it was because I was totally insecure.
So I was,
You know,
I was like,
Okay,
My body image,
I'm,
I'm insecure about this,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah.
What am I going to do?
I'm going to cut out social media and I'm going to live my life.
You know,
I'm just going to be me when I did this.
I did feel better.
I did feel so much better,
But that's by cutting out a huge chunk of something I call digitalization.
And,
And this is actually good because I can grow and I can evolve on Instagram,
On Tik TOK.
I can use some of these means to actually just evolve and,
And,
And work on my mission,
Work on my message.
I don't have to totally disconnect,
Right?
But I did it just because of my insecurities.
So now my insecurities were the reason why I closed a door and of an opportunity on myself.
Now,
If I had just come back to a place where I regulated,
Obviously my intake of social media,
And I,
At the same time,
Worked on myself and my growth,
I wouldn't,
I wouldn't suffer that much.
But the thing is,
Suffering is there.
Suffering is always going to be there because the next time you're walking down the street and you're comparing yourself,
It's not about the other person that you're comparing yourself with.
And now we have to wipe them out from existence just because you're insecure.
It's about your own perspective to things.
And that's what I learned,
Unfortunately.
It's that I have this big judgmental junk behind me that I'm trying to put aside by cutting out this,
Cutting out that.
Deal with it.
Deal with it.
Okay.
Why are we thinking that that person is better than us?
Why did we are wired this way?
Let's go back.
How old are you?
How old is the person who is thinking this?
And then you can even have answers.
My answer,
My person is 15 years old.
She's always 15.
And she sometimes just feels insecure.
She comes back and she's like,
Yo,
I don't like my body.
I don't know what's happening.
I don't,
I don't have anything to wear tonight.
And I'm like,
Yo,
What,
What if I told you that this is not real,
That you are safe here,
That this is not,
You are beautiful and that you were just bruised once.
And now that you can let that go,
How would you feel about yourself?
Oh,
I feel better.
Yeah,
You feel better.
Okay.
And what would you rather do if you were not torturing yourself this way?
If you were not just judging yourself this way?
Oh,
I would,
I would maybe just start dancing,
Put on a song,
Put on my makeup on and feel good about myself.
And,
You know,
This,
These are the moments where we kind of go back to our wounds and show up as the adult,
Show up as the parent and parent our inner child or our inner teenager or whatever,
Like past versions of ourselves,
Just parent them properly.
Because I mean,
Let's face it,
We didn't have that,
That model of great parenthood,
Or maybe we did and we didn't pay attention.
So,
You know,
Just going back to ourselves and being very,
Very,
Very kind,
Knowing that we're still just stuck at an emotional age that is far below our actual age of,
And wisdom,
The thing is,
Your higher self has no age and it's,
It's,
It's eternal and it's so full of wisdom and understands everything,
But you cannot always,
We all know that you cannot always stay in that state of,
Of,
Unless you've reached Nirvana and you kept living there forever.
Well,
Then I don't know you,
Maybe we can meet in another life.
But if you are just meditating here and there,
And you're like having a,
You know,
A lifestyle,
A healthy relationship with healing and working on yourself,
You're going to have these highs and lows,
Right?
You're going to have your connection to yourself,
To your normal self,
And then you're going to have connection to higher self,
And then you're going to feel good,
You're going to feel judgment,
You're going to feel fear,
You're going to feel hope,
You're going to feel anger,
And all of these things are just a whole emotion and,
And,
And they keep coming back and they keep rolling their circle.
Your,
Your part here is to show up,
Is to show up and to feel them,
To feel the feelings.
If you are judging yourself,
The thing is to be aware that you are judging yourself,
First of all,
Because sometimes we just forget it and we keep living the judgment and we take it on our day,
We take it with our,
With our friends,
And then we judge others around us,
We judge ourselves and it just becomes a mess.
But when we're aware of it,
We just sort of step into the inner parent to ourselves and say,
Okay,
I see where this is coming from,
But we don't have to do this anyway.
And this is,
This is basically what,
What healing is about.
Healing is not a linear stuff.
It's not something that you wake up and you're like,
Whoa,
I love my body.
That happens.
Yes,
It does.
But it,
It won't last after long.
And you will have to keep working on yourself to keep asking the questions,
Why am I doing the things I do?
Sometimes it happens to me because with a history of eating disorder and with a history of restriction,
It might happen that a judgmental voice around some type of food will come.
And then I will be like,
Okay,
This is not me anymore.
I refuse to buy into this idea.
And I thank you for showing up.
I talk to my past self.
I thank you for showing up with this voice.
I thank you for showing up with this idea,
But we no longer have to protect ourselves like we used to.
We are fully aligned,
Baby.
We are fully aligned.
We love our bodies and we are showing up to better our relationship with food and we are balanced.
So the thing is,
You have to counter the belief every time it shows up,
If you are aware of it.
That's why awareness is good.
Be self-aware.
Don't just walk around and think,
Oh,
My day is going great.
Yeah,
You are aware that your day is going great.
There's no great day if you're not aware of it.
My day is going bad.
No,
You are aware that your day is going bad.
If you change your belief to,
I am aware my day is going great,
Then your day will be going great.
And it's just things like this.
And we can also use these tricks in our bodies and our intimacy with ourselves before we jump into your relationships to fulfill other people's needs,
To fill our cups with other people's problems,
With other people's past and work on themselves,
Whether they work or they don't work.
Work on yourself.
Show up for you.
That will wait.
And if you're in a relationship,
Good for you.
That's amazing.
It's just that you have to be aware that when you are in deficit,
You cannot give.
When you are in deficit,
You should not give.
Feed your own self.
Fill your own cup and let the overflow,
Let the overflow work its way out to people around you.
It becomes like a natural thing.
You don't even have to,
You know,
Force the given process.
It just comes like that because there's an overflow of energy.
There's an overflow of love and it just kind of goes into people around you.
Right?
So that is something that really just,
I also need to work on this.
So I am with you on this.
Let's love ourselves more.
Let's develop this intimate relationship with our bodies and let's just show up.
Let's show up when we're having these inner thoughts of judgment,
Of body shape,
Of workout routines and revisit the why we do them.
We do these things because we love us and that's it.
That's it.
We're not trying to show up in a different image.
We're not trying to show up in something else than ourselves.
That's just basically it.
