Enjoy being guided into an experience of your expanded self on the waves of the breath. Moving through the breath toward the heart center, you will connect with the radiance within and complete the practice feeling grounded, easeful, connected, and ready for your day.

Welcome to this practice for grounding and connecting with your authentic self.

Begin by finding a comfortable position and making any adjustments that you need to,

To your body so that you feel as comfortable as you possibly can.

And once you feel as though you're there,

Inviting the eyes to gently close.

Knowing that right now at this moment,

There's nowhere else you need to be.

And there's nothing else you need to be doing.

Inviting a full breath in through the mouth,

And then sighing out loud as you softly exhale.

And allow any thoughts and tensions from the day to ride the wave of that exhale.

Sensing into the muscles of the body and allowing them to soften as you gently invite any physical tension that is present in the body to let go just a little bit more.

Allowing the next inhale to gently move in through the nose.

And as you exhale,

Softening through the muscles of the jaw,

The eyes,

And even softening the tongue.

Softening through the shoulders,

The length of the arms,

And all the way down to the fingertips.

Softening through the spine and the hips.

Softening through both legs all the way down to all 10 toes.

Allowing the breath to move in and envelop any areas in the body that may be holding more tension or contraction than others.

Softening into the spaces that feel tight or uncomfortable or constricted in any way.

You might notice that the muscles naturally soften as you allow the breath to greet them.

Using a gentle softening of the tension there.

Now noticing the flow of the breath with each inhalation and each exhalation.

Softening the breath to flow smoothly.

Each breath flowing fluidly one after the other.

You allow yourself to breathe in from the limitless space around you and exhale into infinite space.

Using your awareness gently on the breath.

Awareness gently on the breath as you become one with the fluid nature of the breath,

The fluid nature of life.

The flow of breath at one with you as you draw breath in from infinity and breathe out to infinity.

Exhaling from infinite space,

Exhaling into infinite space.

Gently becoming aware of a sense of ease within you,

A gentle ease at the center of your being.

The essence of you.

The essence of you emerging at the center of your being as you gather your awareness to the heart center.

The center of your being.

The essence of you.

The essence of you beyond the thoughts,

Beyond the drama.

The essence of you beyond the identification of the mind.

Your awareness at the heart center,

The center of your being.

The essence of you.

At the center of your being,

You are not your thoughts.

You are not your emotions.

You are not the roles that you play.

You are not the things you do.

You are a center of pure awareness,

Pure being,

Pure being.

Pure being,

Awareness at the heart center,

The center of being,

The essence of you.

Allow yourself to become more and more present here,

More and more present at the heart center.

Breathing in from infinite space,

Breathing out to infinite space,

Breathing in from infinity,

And out to infinity.

Building your awareness on the experience of being,

Being deeply,

Easefully,

And sensing and imagining that in the center,

You are light.

Allowing that light to grow and expand with each breath.

With each breath in and each breath out,

Light expands in all directions.

Light expanding in all directions as you become more and more present.

Light expanding in all directions.

Breathing in from infinity and out to infinity,

Sensing into your infinite self,

Sensing the light and the peace and the ease of this being state.

As you allow the light to flow through the entire body,

Bathing every organ,

Every muscle,

Every cell,

73 trillion cells illuminated radiant,

Light extending in all directions,

Breathing in from infinity and out to infinity,

Aligning your body to its true essence,

The true self,

Allowing the light to expand outward around the body as if the body is glowing radiant,

Illuminated as you breathe in from infinity and out to infinity.

Simultaneously,

Feeling into the roots of your physical body,

Rooting deep into the earth,

Gently touching all living things with your light.

Light traveling down into the earth,

Sensing and feeling your deep,

Authentic connection with the earth below.

An awakening here,

A sense of gratitude for this vitality,

This life force,

This essence that is you.

This opportunity to be light in physical form.

Celebrating the gift of the physical form that invites you to explore and develop the wisdom of authentic living.

As you celebrate your essence,

Your authentic self with the breath,

Breathing in from infinity,

Breathing out to infinity,

Holding awareness in the center of the being and the heart center,

And experiencing your light radiating outwards through the physical body.

Your light radiating outward through the space in which your body rests.

Your light radiating out across the local geography,

Outwards across the country in which you rest.

Your light radiating outward across the world,

Across time,

Across space,

Light radiating.

As you sense and feel your innate connection with all things,

With all beings,

You are infinite.

You are infinite.

You are infinite and deeply connected.

Holding awareness at the center of the heart,

The center of the being.

You might gently invite the following words to echo softly,

I am.

I am.

I am.

Feeling the gentle vibration of these words as you sense back into the space of the heart and resting here in the space of the heart for a few moments,

Simply allowing the breath to flow,

Breathing in from infinity and out to infinity.

I am.

I am.

I am.

I am.

Gently deepening the breath.

Deepening the breath as you gently return awareness to the physical body,

The physical body resting in a physical space.

I begin to visualize the space around you as you invite small movements into the fingers and the toes,

Allowing the body to transition very slowly,

Very gently at your own pace in this deep grounding into a space that is more alert as you draw full breath in through the nose and slowly sigh out loud,

Letting the breath go.

Giving one more breath like this big inhale through the nose.

And then as you exhale with a soft sigh,

Gently fluttering the eyes open and remaining in stillness for a few more moments and sensing the quality of this presence in your body,

This presence of your essence that you carry with you now into the rest of your day.
