In this meditation, you will be guided to bring your focus into your heart center and let go of any walls surrounding your heart. Our hearts are stronger than we realize. It can bear the load of emotions that we must endure, by letting them flow through us instead of pushing them away or blocking them.

Let your heart bear the load.

Closing over your eyes now,

Relax deeper into your body.

Lift your shoulders up towards your ears and then relax them down your back.

Feel how that allows you to breathe a little deeper.

Take a nice deep inhale through your nose and exhale,

Sigh it out your open mouth.

Continue to breathe in your normal pace,

Maybe deepening and lengthening on every exhale.

Let your heart bear the load,

For it is stronger than you know.

We tend to close off and protect when we sense painful emotions or rejection.

But the cause of our pain is not the stimulus at all.

The cause of our pain is not feeling our hearts because they're being blocked by a wall.

When you stay open and loving toward yourself and others,

There is no pain you cannot withstand.

So let's try this now.

Let your focus drop down into your chest.

Feel your breath as it flows in and out of your heart space.

Feel your heart as it beats.

As you breathe,

Imagine all walls falling away from your heart.

Picture with each breath that you are dropping deeper into the very center of your heart.

Watch as the air flows in and out of your heart center.

The heart giving love and receiving love is the most wonderful feeling you can attain.

And breathing through the feelings of hurt,

Stress or disappointment will allow them to pass straight through your heart.

They just flow right through it like water.

Crystal clear,

Serene water flowing through your heart center.

Washing away all of the negative emotions as it flows.

But it cannot flow if there is a wall where there should be an opening.

Let it flow through as it must.

Keep your heart open,

Dear one,

And the emotions will ebb and flow through the clear pathway.

So that after a few moments or hours or days,

You realize that the pain has subsided and you no longer hold on to the negativity,

Afraid to feel its pain.

You face it with a heart wide open and steady,

Breathing through the pain and discomfort,

Allowing it to flow through your heart center like waves.

Until the well of emotions runs dry and the moment has passed.

And breathe as you realize that you've done it,

Dear one.

You let it pass through you.

You let it flow through you and out of you and onto the next one.

You didn't hold tightly to unnecessary pain.

You allowed it to flow and that's all you must do.

Good job my dear friend,

You're doing so well.

Take one nice deep breath in the space as you start to awaken your body by wiggling your fingers and toes.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes.
