Hey,
This is Becca.
Get comfortable.
Let's meditate together.
Take a deep breath in and exhale.
And start with your eyes open and just notice where you are right now.
And notice that you are safe in this moment.
And that there is space for you to relax.
And even if you have a million things to do,
Give yourself these five minutes to do nothing at all.
To just turn off and to decide that there is space here.
There is space here for you to relax.
There is space in this moment.
There is space inside of you to just be at ease with the way things are.
So take a deep breath in.
And another exhale.
And now notice your hands and your fingers relaxed.
And your feet and your toes relaxed.
Allow your shoulders to really just slide down your back.
And allow your seat to be nice and heavy.
At ease wherever you are.
At ease not because in this moment I finally finished all the things I have to do.
Not because in this moment everything is perfect.
But can you just be at ease because you can.
Can you be at ease because nothing is stopping you.
Even though life is messy.
Even though there is more that has yet to be done.
And that have yet to be tied.
There is space here to relax.
So settle into that space right now.
And give yourself permission to be a little bit of a mess.
You are a human being.
Can you give yourself more permission to just be as you are.
Notice the freedom that that brings you.
Permission to be as you are.
Notice the space that brings you.
To give yourself more permission to just be as you are right now.
Not the way you wish you were.
Not the way you would be if everything were perfect.
But this way,
You,
Right now,
Right here.
Can you meet yourself here?
With some compassion.
Can you meet yourself here?
And say,
Hey,
You know what?
You're great.
Not because you've never made a mistake.
But you're great because you are a human being.
Who came here to learn through trial and error.
Who came here to learn through mistakes.
Who came here to be a mess.
And there's nothing wrong with that.
And there's nothing wrong with you.
And there's space for all of it.
Take another deep breath in.
And exhale.
And decide now that no matter what happens next.
You get to have this space.
This freedom.
To be at ease.
No matter what comes at you.
No matter what arises within you.
There's always this ease.
This possibility for acceptance.
No matter what's happening inside or outside.
And just setting that intention to remember that acceptance.
And to give it to yourself.
So that we can give it to others.
And live a happier life.
Namaste.
