Welcome.

My name is Nola Bloom,

And today I'm sharing a full moon meditation to welcome the radiant lunar light and allow the heart to be gently illuminated.

The full moon is a sacred moment of fullness.

A time when emotions rise,

Truths come into view,

And what has been gently held is ready to be seen with honesty and compassion.

This is a powerful time to soften what feels heavy or complete,

And allow the light of the full moon to transform tightness into clarity and contraction into spaciousness.

At this point in the lunar cycle,

The moon stands fully illuminated in the night sky,

Radiant and whole.

Many people feel this energy as heightened emotion,

Increased sensitivity,

Or a deep stirring within the heart.

This meditation is an invitation to meet that fullness with presence,

To find balance within intensity,

And to realign your inner world with the steady,

Ancient rhythm of the moon.

So let's begin by getting yourself really comfortable.

You may choose to sit upright or lie down on your back.

Allow your body to be fully supported by the earth beneath you.

And as you settle into stillness,

Bring one palm to your heart and one to your belly.

Close down the eyes,

And take a slow,

Deep breath in,

And a soft,

Unhurried exhale.

And then just allow the breath to find its natural rhythm.

Notice the sensations in your body,

The places that feel open,

And the places that feel tight.

Notice the subtle sounds around you,

And let yourself fully arrive in this moment.

Now,

Begin to visualize the soft,

Luminous light of the full moon radiating down upon you.

Imagine the silvery white light touching the crown of your head,

Flowing gently down your face and jaw,

Softening the throat and shoulders,

Washing through the chest and heart.

Let the moonlight continue its slow journey through the belly,

The hips,

The legs,

And all the way down to the soles of the feet.

Allow your entire being to be bathed in this healing lunar glow.

Clear the mind,

Soften the heart.

Open yourself to the presence of the moon and the gentle,

Feminine intelligence that moves with cycles.

Trust the light.

Trust the lunar energy circling the earth tonight,

Touching oceans,

Forests,

Cities,

And your own inner tides.

Draw in through the nose a big breath.

Imagine drawing the moonlight into your heart.

As you exhale,

Soften anything that feels heavy or complete.

Again,

Inhale,

Draw the moonlight into the heart.

Exhale and soften.

One more time,

Inhale,

Welcoming light.

Exhale,

Letting go completely.

Allow the breath to turn to its natural rhythm.

Gently turn your attention inward.

Begin to notice anything in your life that no longer feels aligned or nourishing.

This may appear as a thought pattern,

An emotional weight,

A belief that you've outgrown,

Or a situation or relationship that needs to be released.

There's no need to analyze.

Simply observe.

If many things arise,

Just let them be.

Like clouds moving slowly across the midnight sky.

Notice if one theme or feeling keeps returning to your awareness.

Without judgment,

Hold it gently in your attention.

Where do you feel it in the body?

What sensations accompany it?

Now visualize the light of the full moon growing brighter.

The lunar rays become stronger,

More expansive,

More illuminating.

See this light shining directly upon what is ready to soften or complete.

Watch as its edges begin to blur.

The energy loosens.

The charge dissolves.

Almost as if melting into mist.

See it gently absorbed by the moonlight.

As this happens,

Quietly repeat inwardly,

I allow what is complete to gently fall away.

I make space for clarity,

Compassion,

And ease.

With each inhale,

Draw in purifying lunar light.

With each exhale,

Release any gripping or clinging.

There is nothing to force.

Nothing to push away.

Notice your body feeling lighter.

Your mind more spacious.

Your heart more open.

Now bring your awareness back to your heart center.

And rest your attention here.

Notice what is alive in your heart right now.

Not what you think should be there.

But what is truly present.

Perhaps a longing.

A quiet truth.

A tenderness.

Allow it to be seen.

Visualize the moonlight gathering at the heart.

Illuminating this inner truth without needing to change it.

Let the light hold your heart gently.

Now offer a few affirmations.

Repeat them silently.

Let them wash through you.

Allow yourself to feel fully and soften gently.

I trust the natural cycles of my heart and emotions.

I am held in clarity,

Compassion,

And light.

I welcome balance and emotional harmony.

Let these words dissolve back into silence.

Now simply rest.

Bathe in the fullness of the lunar glow.

Feel yourself held by something vast.

Steady and ancient.

Stay here for a few moments.

Floating in this illuminated space.

Allowing the moonlight to carry you.

Just watching the rhythm of the breath.

Moving in and out of the body.

Any residual tensions melting away.

As you drop deeper and deeper into stillness.

Gently bring awareness back into the body.

Wiggling the fingers and toes.

Softening the shoulders.

Gently opening your eyes.

Carry this sense of illumination with you.

Let it continue to ripple outward throughout your day.

Thank you for sharing this full moon practice with me.

Namaste.
