This is Day 6 of a seven-day series of Chakra Balancing Mindfulness Meditation. A simple, easy meditation to help maintain a healthy energy system within our body. When the 7 days are completed, please feel free to repeat the cycle or work on a particular chakra that you feel like. Please find a quiet place,

Nice and comfortable.

Sit up straight.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your facial expressions.

We do a hand gesture called Nana Mudra to help our energy flow better in the body.

Put your hands on your lap,

Palms facing upward,

With your thumb gently touching your index finger.

Relax your whole body.

Close your eyes.

We breathe in and out naturally.

Let's start by doing a grounding procedure to help us feel safer and connect with the earth.

Imagine there are roots coming out of the end of your spine where the root chakra is,

Extending through your legs,

Opening the bottom of your feet,

All the way down to the center of the earth.

As we inhale,

We breathe in clean air from Mother Gaya,

Through the tree roots,

Our legs,

Back to the entire body.

As we exhale,

We breathe out unwanted energies,

Passing through our legs,

The roots,

And send them back to the center of the earth.

We are now well connected with this planet.

We feel safe and secured.

Thank you Mother Gaya for receiving the energies that no longer serve us.

Today we open the sixth chakra,

The third eye chakra.

It's in the middle of our eyebrows,

To be more exact,

The third eye is our pineal gland,

Located behind our eyes in the middle of the brain.

Pineal gland is very small,

Like the size of a pea.

When this energy center is well balanced,

Our thinking will be clear,

Imagination and intuition will also improve.

The color of the third eye chakra is indigo blue.

Now we'll do a mindfulness breathing exercise.

During the process,

As we breathe out,

We send love to our third eye,

Let it spiral in a healthy way.

Notice there's a beautiful indigo color spinning slowly in this area.

You'll hear a slight bell sound in the background.

This is to remind you to focus on your breathing and send more love to this energy point.

There may be thoughts flying around in your mind,

Simply acknowledge them and let them leave quietly,

Then return to your breathing.

Let's spend a few more minutes and breathe into our third eye chakra.
