This meditation helps you to explore a sense of vastness and belonging. It reflects on how the sky holds storms, sunlight, clouds, and stars without judgment and in the same way, you too can hold every part of yourself, the messy and the magnificent, the pain and the beauty. Softening self-criticism, enabling you to breathe into expansion, and to remember that you are already enough, exactly as you are.

Just take a moment to settle wherever you are,

You don't need to sit perfectly,

Or lie perfectly,

Or breathe perfectly,

There is no perfect here,

Just presence,

Just you exactly as you are,

And that is perfect enough.

If it feels comfortable,

Gently close your eyes too or simply soften your gaze,

Let your body rest,

Let your shoulders loosen just a little,

And if you want,

Place your hands together in your lap,

Holding your own hands,

As if they were a reminder that I am here,

I am safe,

And I belong.

Now,

In your mind's eye,

Picture yourself outside,

Under a vast night sky,

There are no walls here,

No ceilings,

Nothing to contain you,

Just sky,

Stretching further than your eyes can follow,

The stars shimmer,

Scattered,

Countless,

Infinite,

Some burn bright,

Some are faint,

And almost hidden,

Some are falling,

Trailing fire,

Some glow steadily,

Like ancient companions,

Notice how the sky doesn't apologize for its scatter,

It doesn't choose only the brightest stars,

It makes space for all of them,

For everyone,

And as you gaze upward,

Let this truth arrive gently,

The sky has room for all of you,

Think of the parts of yourself you try to push away,

The messy parts,

The fearful parts,

The parts that ache,

Or rage,

Or grieve,

The parts you hide,

Because you believe they are too much,

Now think of the parts of yourself you love,

Your tenderness,

Your creativity,

Your moments of joy,

Your strength,

Your resilience,

Your softness,

They all belong here,

The light and the dark,

The summer and the winter seasons,

The steady and the fleeting,

Just as the sky holds every star,

You too can hold every part of yourself,

Ask yourself softly,

Which parts of me have I tried to exile?

What would it be like to let them take their place in my sky?

Perhaps you've felt at times like you take up too much space,

That your feelings are too loud,

Your needs are too heavy,

Maybe you've told yourself to shrink,

To stay quiet,

To stay small,

So that others can stay comfortable,

But look at the sky,

It doesn't shrink,

It doesn't ask permission to expand,

The sky doesn't apologize for the storms that thunder,

For the quiet that lingers,

The sky simply is,

What if you could allow yourself that same freedom,

To be both storm and stillness,

Both messy and magnificent,

To belong to yourself without apology,

Take a slow breath,

Feel the air in your body,

Notice your chest rise and fall,

Now imagine each breath as a star appearing in your sky,

Each inhale a light,

Each exhale space opening wider,

Let your inner world expand,

Let it become vast enough to hold every contradiction,

And ask yourself gently,

What am I afraid will happen if I stop hiding parts of me?

What would it feel like if instead of being hidden,

Those parts could shine,

Even faintly,

So often we believe belonging depends on being a certain way,

More successful,

More cheerful,

More put together,

Less messy and less complicated,

But here,

Beneath this endless sky,

Belonging is not conditional,

You belong because you exist,

Because you breathe,

Because you are part of this vastness already,

The sky does not ask the stars to earn their place,

And you do not need to earn yours,

You belong,

You belong to this moment,

You belong to yourself,

Take another slow breath if you want to,

Notice how it feels to imagine yourself under that vast wide sky,

If loneliness has been your companion,

Let the vastness remind you,

You are part of something larger,

If shame has been your shadow,

Let the stars remind you,

There is space for even this,

If fear has been your cage,

Let the horizon remind you,

There is more beyond what you can see,

You are held,

Not in perfection or with expectations,

But in love and in spaciousness,

Now reflect upon this,

If the sky can hold both light and dark,

If the sky does not apologise for its storms,

Can I stop apologising for mine?

If the sky does not ask its stars to shine brighter,

Can I allow myself to simply be?

Now let these questions ripple like constellations across your awareness,

No need for immediate answers,

Just wonder,

Just possibility and place your hands gently over your heart now,

Feel your own warmth,

Feel your aliveness,

And whisper softly,

The sky has room for all of me I belong just as I am,

I am my very own sky,

My very own universe,

And when you are ready,

Are your eyes gently open?

Carrying with you the truth that you don't need to shrink or hide or exile yourself,

The sky has room for every star,

And life has room for every part of you Thank you for watching!
