Nature Reset.
If you can do this practice in nature with bare feet,
That's great.
And if you can't,
That's also great.
Let's take a few moments to come into greater presence.
And when you feel yourself more connected with your body,
If you'd like,
Simply lie down on the floor,
If that's available to you and feels good.
Now simply let yourself and your body settle down.
Once you're there,
Start to observe your breath as it is,
Without changing it.
Gently allowing your eyes to close or keeping your gaze down and letting your eyes rest in their sockets,
As far back as you can allow them to.
And let yourself settle deeper into your body and yourself.
Now without forcing,
Begin to gently lengthen your exhale until it's about twice as long as your inhale.
And let that happen naturally over time.
Next,
Begin to connect to the aliveness within you.
Maybe you can feel what is touching your skin and simply appreciate that.
Or maybe you're feeling a breeze on your face or hearing some background noise.
And you can feel all of that too and more,
Like maybe your heartbeat or even the blood flowing through your veins,
If that sensation is available to you right now.
Or maybe you can discern the sound of your nervous system or something else inside of you,
Maybe even your belly gurgling or just silence.
That's also completely fine.
Simply stay as present inside of yourself as you are able to in this moment.
And if you'd like,
You can gently place a hand on your heart and express gratitude to your body for taking such good care of you and for doing the millions of processes or more it's constantly doing to keep you alive and well,
Thanking your body and allowing yourself to revel in the beauty and the miraculous experience of being in a body and feeling your aliveness.
And stay there for a moment or two.
Now imagine,
Sense or feel the nature around you.
Even if you're not in nature right now,
Tuning into all the life around you in whichever way you become aware of it,
Maybe through your sense of inner vision,
Sound,
Smell,
Even touch if a pet or another human is laying by your side.
Whatever or whoever you are connecting with in this moment,
Connect to their aliveness in the same way you were connecting with yours a moment ago.
And feel their aliveness reinforcing your own aliveness.
Feel the life force in all that is alive around you and connect to life itself,
Its beauty,
Its strength,
Its flexibility,
Its vulnerability too,
And its resilience.
And embody these qualities with great appreciation and presence to all that becomes possible for you when you feel this alive,
This connected to your aliveness and to the whole of life.
And let yourself rest and be deeply supported and resourced in this space,
Receiving the kind of nourishment that helps you feel deeply safe in yourself,
Seen,
Soothed and secure.
And let yourself yield into this support and receive the well-being that you long for and the deep joy and peace that come with it and that also create it.
And with this gift,
Move forward in your life with a greater sense of aliveness and belonging.
And also share this gift with others,
For instance,
By doing this practice together with them and sharing in the aliveness together if that feels right for you.
And now,
