Guided Meditation for Higher Self,
Outer Space.
This is a meditation for connecting with your higher self.
Let's start by closing our eyes and breathing deeply in and out,
All the way down into the lower belly.
Relax your shoulders,
Allowing them to droop downward.
Relax your body and let it sink into your chair.
Feel the heaviness in your feet as they are planted firmly on the floor,
Connecting you with the energy of the earth.
As you are relaxing,
Picture the room that you are sitting in.
See the details of the room in your mind's eye.
Now gradually expand your awareness until it fills the whole room.
It feels like you could reach out and touch the walls.
Now expand your awareness until it fills the whole house,
Including all the rooms.
Now imagine that the house is inside of you and your awareness is continuing to expand outward.
Rise above your house until you can see your neighborhood.
Notice all the houses,
The cars,
And the trees.
Notice the details of your neighborhood.
As you rise higher,
Observe the city where you live.
Notice the buildings,
The parks,
And other features of the city.
Now rise above the city until you are looking down at the state or province where you live.
Observe the features of the land.
As you rise higher,
You see the continent where you live coming into focus.
Notice the cloud cover over some parts of the continent.
See the oceans surrounding the continent.
Expand your awareness to include all the marine life in the oceans,
The wells,
The dolphins,
The fish,
And all the fascinating sea creatures.
Take a moment to contemplate the peaceful lives they live,
In tune with nature as they follow their instincts.
Now as you continue to rise higher,
You see planet Earth below you.
Notice the beautiful colors and how clearly you can see the whole planet from here.
You can also see the moon and the solar system,
With all the unique planets.
Observe the multitude of stars in the galaxy and how they all go together to form a beautiful pattern.
You see other galaxies in the distance.
Expand your awareness until all the galaxies are inside of you.
Here in the outer reaches of space,
It is quiet and peaceful.
As you relax into the peaceful feeling,
You realize that you are in touch with your higher self.
This is your opportunity to talk to your higher self.
Take some time now to ask your higher self any questions that are on your mind,
And listen for the answers.
Now it's time to come back slowly.
Bring your attention to the Milky Way galaxy.
There is one star that you recognize as the Sun.
As you move towards the Sun,
The solar system comes into focus.
You see planet Earth,
It is your home.
Moving towards the Earth,
You see the continent where you live,
Coming into focus.
You see the state or province where you live.
Then your city,
Your neighborhood,
And finally your house.
You find yourself back in the room where you are sitting,
Safe and snug in your chair.
Breathe deeply and feel your body.
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Stretch,
And come back to the present moment.
