My friend, any amount of time meditating will help you shift your internal state. If you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, breathing techniques can help you refocus the mind and calm down your nervous system. Box Breathing is a simple technique where you inhale for a count of four, hold the inhale for a count of four, exhale for a count of four, and hold the exhale for a count of four. My hope is you notice that even just a couple of minutes of breathing and turning inward can make a subtle shift.

Your breath is the most valuable tool that is always accessible to you.

You can breathe your way back to your center.

You can regain your peace and you can breathe yourself full again right here.

Close your eyes if you'd like.

Breathe in gently through your nose.

Big exhale out your mouth.

Really feel your lungs expand,

The back of your ribs expand.

Let it go.
