Hi my friend,
Soften into this moment,
Take your sweet time to get comfortable,
Maybe lay down or find a comfortable seat,
Gently closing your eyes if that feels safe to you Breathe in slowly,
Open mouth exhale,
Let everything melt away,
Allow this version of you to remain.
Breath in,
Breath out,
Soften in.
Meditation is a practice that allows us to pause the mind to notice what story we are telling ourselves.
We are always telling ourselves a story.
How is your inner narrative right now my friend?
Notice what story the mind is coming up with.
Who is writing this story?
Notice if your story is full of limiting beliefs or doubts or fears.
Breathe as you observe.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Is this a new story or an old story?
Where did this story come from?
Did you write it or did someone else write it?
How does this story make you feel in your body,
In your heart?
If you could release one word,
Belief or chapter from this story,
What would it be?
Follow your breath in,
Follow your breath out.
Feel into your heart.
Feel the space you're creating between you and the story.
In this space is freedom,
Relief,
Peace.
It's time to rewrite this story.
My friend,
Can you notice maybe the lack of evidence that supports this story?
Can you instead write a story that is kind and true?
A story that serves you.
As you begin to rewrite this story,
Your inner narrative,
Notice what you can release and notice what you can embody instead.
What new chapter can you write?
Notice how it feels to choose a new way forward with kindness and love,
Knowing that you are the author of your healing,
Of your life.
Take a deep breath in,
Become really clear of an old thought that served the old story.
Now shift that thought to serve your new story,
Your new narrative.
Reframing,
Rewriting,
Inhale,
Exhale.
Notice the quality of your mind.
Notice how your body feels now.
And may you give yourself grace and compassion.
Our old stories tend to be ingrained in our mind,
So we might have to rewrite them again and again and again.
Coming back to what is true,
What is kind.
Take a slow breath in,
Let it go.
What a gift it is to bring awareness to the stories we tell ourselves,
To release the ones that do not serve us,
To feel empowered to rewrite.
It's a gift to feel this energy of a blank page,
A fresh start,
A new story,
A new way forward.
Be kind to your mind.
Breath in,
Let it go.
