Find a comfortable position where you can deeply relax,
Either sitting or laying down.
You may notice sounds,
Thoughts,
Sensations or things happening around you.
Just allow those sounds,
Thoughts and anything you notice to go on without giving them any attention.
For right now,
Just focus on my voice as we begin an internal journey to calm,
Peace,
Ease and relaxation.
Rest your head and feel the weight of your head supported.
Release all the muscles in your scalp and face,
Letting them drop and relax.
Relax the muscles in your forehead,
Around your eyes,
Around your mouth and your jaw.
If you haven't already,
I invite you to gently close your eyes.
Take a deep cleansing breath in through your nose and a deep releasing breath out through your mouth.
Let's do that two more times together.
Breathing in fully,
Breathing out,
Release.
Exhale big belly breath and exhale letting go.
If you're able to and it's comfortable,
Place your hands on your belly,
Connecting to your breath.
You have made it here to this moment,
Allowing yourself this time of deep relaxation.
There's nowhere else to go and nothing to do except to be here now.
Realizing that all is well in this moment and you are safe.
As your breath deepens and slows down,
You may notice a feeling of release and relaxation throughout your body and mind.
As your whole body relaxes and sinks down to the earth,
Your shoulders release and relax.
Your arms,
Hands and fingers relax.
The front of your heart softens.
The back of your heart softens.
All of the muscles in your back release and relax.
As your breath gently moves in and out of your lungs and belly,
Your lungs and belly soften.
Your hips relax and release down.
This relaxation moves down your legs,
Into your feet and toes.
Feeling the ground under you supported by the earth.
Your whole body relaxed.
Release and unwind.
Take a few moments here right now just to be allowing it all.
Slowly and gently,
Whenever you're ready,
Bringing this expansive feeling of calm,
Freedom,
Relaxation and peace with you.
We can bring that back into the safe home of your body.
Take a deep breath in and a slow mindful breath out.
Feeling if your mind and body feel a bit calmer and more relaxed.
Trusting yourself to return to your breath anytime,
Taking intentional,
Slow,
Deep and calm breaths to return to this space of greater ease and peace.
This space is always available to you.
