Allow yourself to find a comfortable position lying on a floor or a bed or sitting in a comfortable chair.
If it feels comfortable,
Close your eyes.
Begin to feel the pull of gravity settling you deeper into the surface you're reclining on.
Do a brief mental scan through your physical body seeking out any remaining fibers of tension and imagine that you're breathing them out on your next exhale.
Notice the natural ebb and flow of your breath and make no attempt to change or alter your breath in any way.
The breath will naturally slow and deepen as you become more relaxed.
Perhaps visualize the breath taking on a shape like a figure eight or an infinity symbol,
Recognizing that it's not that the inhale stops and then the exhale begins,
But it's more like the breath changes direction.
On continuous flow,
The inhale changes direction at the top and becomes the exhale.
The exhale changes direction at the bottom and becomes the next inhale.
Continue to quietly watch the rising and the falling,
The ebb and the flow of this natural breath.
Every inhale brings in nourishment.
Every exhale carries away what no longer serves you in your life.
Every inhale,
There's a sensation of filling.
Every exhale,
A sensation of emptying.
The inhale feeds,
The exhale cleanses.
Continue to rest and breathe and then shift your focus to the center of your forehead.
Imagine that shining on the center of the forehead is a small speck of light.
This speck of light is the color light blue and it looks like a small light blue star.
Without focusing or concentrating,
Just imagine that this light is on the center of the forehead or perhaps you'd like to feel it as the presence of a point of energy.
In a moment,
I'll begin to reposition this star across the landscape of your body.
You can follow along with your conscious mind as much as you'd like to,
But remember,
There's nothing to accomplish,
Nothing you have to do,
Nothing to get right.
If your mind wanders,
It's perfectly fine.
When you've noticed it wandered away,
Just pick up again.
If you notice you fall asleep,
That's perfectly fine too.
It's just an indication that you're not getting enough rest.
This light blue point of light moves from the center of the forehead down to the center of the throat,
The right shoulder,
Right elbow,
Right wrist,
Tip of right thumb,

Center of the forehead,
The third eye point,
Seat of intuition and inspiration,
Continue to rest and breathe.
As you rest,
Imagine that the boundary line that separates your physical body from the space around you is being erased.
It's being erased so that you become the space around you and the space around you is part of you.
In this way,
You stretch out like a field of energy,
Boundless and boundary-less,
Like a vast night sky.
Imagine the field of your body as a vast night sky,
Deep indigo in color.
Imagine that all of these points of light are illuminated across you like constellations of stars and your breath is the wind blowing to infinity.
Continue to rest and breathe,
Experiencing yourself as the night sky and your breath as the wind blowing to infinity.
Continue to rest here in this experience for as long as you'd like.
