Welcome to your safe now meditation.
My name is Eva and I'll be your guide.
Take a few moments to settle in,
Find a comfortable position either sitting or laying down and whenever you feel ready let your eyes close gently,
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your body begin to unwind and let's take a deep breath in together and slowly exhale and again take a deep breath in,
Feeling your body taking this deep breath and exhale slowly releasing anything heavy.
This is your time to rest,
To listen inward,
To come back to yourself and as you're resting here you might notice the gentle hum of your mind,
Perhaps you notice this voice in your head,
The one that comments,
Corrects,
Sometimes compares and think about that there is no need to quiet right now,
Just notice it,
Let it speak if it wants to and notice that you are the one listening,
You're not the voice,
You're the space it moves through.
That voice once tried to protect you,
It learned to keep you safe by staying alert,
By anticipating what would go wrong,
It thought control was safety,
It thought worry was care but you've grown,
You don't need fear to keep you safe,
You can choose trust now.
Take a deep breath in and gently exhale and whisper softly thank you for keeping me safe for so long,
I release you now.
Thank you for keeping me safe for so long,
I release you now.
Feel how your body relaxes as you say that,
A quiet softening from within and let each breath become an invitation to peace,
Breathing safety,
Breathing out release,
Breathing clarity,
Breathing out what no longer serves.
You're not your thoughts,
You're not your fears,
You are the stillness beneath them.
Repeat softly in your mind,
I am safe,
I am here,
I am enough,
I am safe to slow down,
I am safe to listen inward,
I am safe to trust my own timing.
Imagine that each breath brings you deeper into presence,
A little softer,
A little freer,
This is what safety feels like,
This is what home feels like.
Take another slow breath in and let it out with a gentle sigh,
Begin to notice the ground beneath you,
The air around you,
The quiet rhythm of your breath.
Remember that you don't have to hold on to this feeling,
It's already a part of you and when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Carry this calm with you,
A quiet mind,
A kinder voice,
A steady sense of being safe now.
Namaste.
