So maybe you're at work,
Maybe you've just been on your computer and you're trying to be online and it's just so frustrating.
So you decide to come here.
Starting with technology,
Sometimes we need to take a pause.
Planets may not be acting according to how we want them to,
So we have to step back and just be in this moment.
Feel your breath coming in,
Feel that cool air coming in your nostrils,
Enlivening every cell of your body with this beautiful oxygen.
Feel it going to every part of your body,
This luscious energy,
This byproduct of the plants,
Taking it in,
Feeling even the cells that were just born in the last 24 hours appreciating this breath you've taken and let go of any toxins,
Any tensions,
Any tightness that might be there around your eyes,
Around your mouth,
Your throat,
Maybe even clenching on a little tight in your stomach.
Just breathing in at your own pace and let things go.
Just allowing yourself to step back from all the technology and appreciate what a wonderful,
Perfectly amazing thing your body is and how it just works so well.
And maybe its circuitry is a little stressed right now,
So it appreciates this time you take for yourself,
This time you take just for this little breath to make a big difference in how you're holding yourself,
How you're thinking,
How you're pushing.
Let it go.
Let it go.
Breathing in,
Relaxing,
Feeling your shoulders on your body as this oxygen goes throughout your body all the way down to your legs,
Letting all the tensions go right down into the earth.
Where it can transform all that uncomfortable stuff and make it food for the plants,
The trees in this world.
Breathing in and letting go,
Allowing yourself to be in that spaciousness of your breath,
The possibility.
How important is it?
Can you let it go just for now?
Feel your body,
How perfectly it works when you allow it to and appreciate that.
Give yourself some love for this moment that you've taken for yourself.
Maybe adjusting yourself a little bit,
Getting back to what you need to do.
Or perhaps you don't even need to do it right now and you can focus on something else.
But mostly just give gratitude to yourself for realizing you needed a break and you gave yourself one.
And if you want,
You can just even linger here a little longer,
But realize it's okay to go back and be in your body.
Feel your breath.
When you're ready,
Feel your feet on the floor,
Your fingers a little bit more supple,
Your eyes a little more relaxed and the tension in your jaw a little bit lighter.
And even your chest feels a little more open.
