Welcome to your five-minute meditation for letting go.

My name is Colette and it is an honor to be guiding this practice.

Before we begin,

Making sure you are comfortable and when you are ready,

Starting to find your chosen posture,

Begin to give yourself permission to come into stillness.

Soften any tension you may be holding on to in your upper body,

Your shoulders,

And your jaw.

Gently softening through your legs and toes and checking in with your breathing,

Beginning to notice the very natural rise and fall of your breath.

Notice how your chest rises on the inhale and falls on the exhale.

And if you'd like to,

You can begin to deepen or lengthen your breath or choose to follow your natural breathing.

With every breath,

Starting to let go of any physical tension in your body.

With each breath,

Letting go of any mental tension or thoughts that may be arising.

Now start to let go of any emotional tension,

Softening any internal conflicts or frustration.

Now just sitting in open awareness as best as you can,

Focusing on every breath in and every breath out.

Sensing those points of contact where your body is being held.

Start to bring movement back into your body very softly,

Welcoming yourself back when you are ready.
