Take a moment to find a comfortable seat in a position that you can remain in for about 10 minutes.
Relaxed,
But not too relaxed.
Stepping away from any notifications,
From anything to do,
Just taking a moment for yourself.
Letting any stress of the day,
Anything that may be on your mind,
Smelt off.
Bringing your attention to this present moment.
And I'd like to invite you,
In your mind's eye,
To visualize a place that makes you happy.
It can be somewhere in nature,
A cafe,
A school,
A nook in your home.
See that place in your mind's eye.
And care to notice each detail,
Every piece of it.
Allow yourself to remember what it feels like to be in that place.
As you experience that emotion,
Just let your lips curl upward in the shape of a smile.
Letting that smile radiate through the mouth,
Through the back of the throat.
Just experience what it feels like to enjoy that joy.
You may notice a certain warmth in your face,
In your heart,
When visualizing a place that makes you feel happiness,
Or a bit of a tingling in your cheek.
Just enjoy that.
With the shape of a smile on your lips,
Just let that warmth radiate through your body,
From your face,
Into your neck,
Into your chest and your heart,
All the way down into your fingertips,
Your knees,
Ankles and your toes.
Knowing that you can always return here to this space,
Whether you're physically present in your happy place or not.
Just allow yourself to bask in that warmth.
If any thoughts arise and start to vie for your attention,
Just return back to the visual of your place,
Of your happy place.
Refocus your attention there.
As we prepare to close,
Place one hand over your heart,
The other on your belly.
Breathe in joy and happiness and peace,
And exhale anything the opposite.
Can do so audibly if it feels comfortable.
Taking another inhale,
Allowing the smile to broaden on your face,
Feeling it spread through your body,
All the way from your forehead to the tips of your toes.
And hold at the top of the inhale.
Really just enjoy all of that warmth.
Taking a deep,
Long exhale.
You can allow yourself to rest for a couple of moments and just enjoy.
When you're ready,
You can move your fingers and your toes,
Stretch your neck left and right,
And return your attention with the same joyful,
Happy,
Positive energy that you've collected through this experience,
And keep that with you.
