After suffering from depression as a teenager, Joe first began exploring meditation and other Eastern practices. But it was only several years later, when diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, that he decided to dedicate his life to studying mindfulness. Today, Joe teaches mindfulness and has an MA in the subject. He has found that mindfulness offers many solutions to modern-day problems, if only it is delivered in a practical way that makes sense to our modern minds and busy lives.
