Explore MeditationJulie Pate is a Yoga Therapist and a Psychotherapist who believes that through consistent mindful attention, we can tap into our own innate ability to heal in order to find joy and fulfillment in life. Julie’s journey with yoga began with a certification with YogaKids in 2008. She continued her love of yoga with a 500-hour certification. In 2015, she began a 3-year study of yoga therapy in the T. K. V. Desikachar tradition. Deeply influenced by the Yoga Sutras and a desire to further study the mind and its role in mental and physical health, Julie began a master’s program in counseling. Graduating in 2021, Julie began a career as a Mental Health Counselor combining yoga and traditional mental health. Since graduating, Julie has studied EMDR and completed Levels 1 and 2 in Gottman Couples Therapy. Julie weaves a love of nature, and connection into her mindfulness programs, and believes that cultivating a sense of awe and wonder adds mystery and magic to life.
