When you were born,
You didn't use language or words.
You processed information through physical sensations,
Sounds,
And images.
That's why images,
Emotions,
And symbols are so powerful.
In this meditation,
You're invited to picture and truly embody and feel what it feels like to have accomplished your goals and to be living your dream state life.
Find a comfortable seated position.
Let your feet rest flat on the ground.
Let your hands rest gently on your lap or by your sides,
And let your body relax,
Allowing your shoulders to soften down,
Sinking away from the ears,
Allowing your face to relax as you let go of any expressions from the day.
Allow your eyes to close and take a deep,
Luxurious,
Slow breath in,
And then let it go,
Exhaling the breath slowly and completely.
Again,
Take a full,
Deep inhale and release a deep,
Complete exhale.
Notice that you're not controlling the breath,
But you're softening to receive a full breath in,
Drawing it all the way down into the belly.
And this time,
As you exhale the breath,
Allow the mouth to open and sigh the breath out.
Again,
A full,
Deep inhale,
All the way down to your toes and up to the crown of your head,
And then a deep,
Open mouth exhale,
Sigh the breath out.
Sigh it all out.
Let your breathing come to a natural state and allow any tension in your body to melt away as you settle into this moment.
Gently bring your attention to the present,
Leaving behind any distractions or thoughts of the day.
Allow yourself to be fully here,
Fully present in this moment,
In this space of possibility.
If at any moment your mind begins to wander,
Just bring it back and bring your awareness back to the breath.
Notice that rise and fall of the belly and the upper chest.
Let your breath guide you and keep you present.
Now,
Imagine roots growing down from your body,
Sinking deep into the earth,
Extending from your feet,
From your hips,
Connecting down to the earth below you.
Feel the grounding fierce energy of the earth supporting you.
With each breath,
Your roots sink deeper,
Wider,
Hugging into the ground.
Feel the strength of your stability,
The stability of your confidence.
Now imagine breathing in a bright,
Warm,
Glowing light.
It's like the color of the sky in the morning as the sun washes the earth with a gentle glow.
This light is filled with unconditional love,
With infinite possibilities.
And with each inhale,
You draw that warmth and that light into the center of your heart.
And as you exhale,
Send it down through your roots into the earth,
Allowing the light to nourish you,
Letting go of anything that you don't need.
Now,
As you inhale and exhale,
Feeling held by the earth,
Nourished by the light,
Begin to imagine your dream state life,
The life that holds everything you desire.
Be generous with your imagination,
Be creative,
Play with the ideas and images of what that dream state life could be.
Allow for everything that brings you joy and fulfillment.
See yourself stepping into this ideal life.
You have made bold changes.
You have welcomed bold changes.
Look around.
In your mind's eye,
Notice where are you?
What are you doing?
Who are you with?
Maybe you're by yourself.
Maybe you're with plants or animals.
Notice the finest details,
Everything from what you're wearing to the expression on the faces of the people around you.
Notice the detail of the expression on your face and the feeling in your body.
When you inhabit this,
Are you smiling?
Or maybe you're laughing?
Or maybe you're focused and in a creative flow.
Take notice of how it feels to be living this purpose-driven life.
This life,
This gift of life that was given to you,
That you have shaped and worked towards,
How do you feel?
Do you feel calm?
Do you feel energized?
Maybe you feel fulfilled.
How does your body feel?
Do you feel lighter?
Do you feel more at peace or maybe excited?
Feel yourself as you inhabit this ideal life.
In your mind's eye,
Picture yourself as if it has already happened.
Picture your loved ones surrounding you and supporting the changes that you have created in your life.
Notice your community.
Notice the people that you care about,
The people who are affected in the best way by the changes you have created.
Notice the changes that you have put in motion.
See how happy all of these shifts have made you and breathe deeply as you allow these feelings of connection to expand within you.
With each breath,
Feel more and more aligned of your life.
All your dreams have come true.
All of the goals and ambitions that you have set out for,
That you have put in motion,
All of the opportunities that arose right on time and all of the partnership that showed up for you through your own commitment,
Through your actions,
With your partnership with the universe,
You've brought this dream to life.
You've believed in yourself and you've believed in the changes that were possible.
And now you're standing on the other side,
Experiencing them fully.
Maybe you feel yourself beam with pride,
Excitement and happiness,
Feeling the confidence that this dream state life is available to you.
It is within you now.
It's already happening and you're capable of creating every bit of it.
Take another deep breath,
Soaking it in and then release the breath,
Fully exhaling and releasing that breath out.
One more time,
Inhale deeply,
Feeling that confidence within you and then exhale,
Releasing it out.
Take a few moments to savor this feeling of alignment and clarity.
Take a deep breath in slowly exhale out and gently begin to bring your awareness back into the room.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Maybe you begin to stretch the arms out wide and when you feel ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Give yourself a big hug for holding that dream and spending time with yourself embodying that experience.
