Hello and welcome to your meditation.

In this meditation,

We're going to allow all the worries of the day to fade away,

All the stresses.

We're going to allow yourself just to be.

So begin by feeling your whole body supported by the earth.

Feel the earth beneath you.

Feel your body where it's supported.

Feel your shoulders soften down the back body and feel your heart shining.

As you release the grip of your toes and your fingers,

Feel your breath moving into your entire being.

Notice where the breath gets stuck.

Breathe into those spaces and taking a very deep long exhale.

Allow your whole body to be supported.

And when it feels right,

Allow your eyes to be heavy.

And allow the image of the western horizon to appear.

Noticing the sun about midway down the sky,

Getting ready to set.

Feeling the warmth of the sun on your face.

Notice your surroundings.

Are you on a hill?

Are you in a valley?

Are you on a mountaintop or on the beach?

Allow your mind to settle on the image in your mind's eye,

Seeing the sun beginning to set.

Notice the horizon.

Notice the sounds around you.

Hearing the birds.

Hearing the wind.

If there's water,

Hearing the waves or the stream.

Noticing the temperature of the earth.

Noticing the sensations of what is supporting you.

If it's sand,

Feeling the sand beneath you.

If it's grass,

Feel the grass beneath you.

If you're standing,

Feel the earth moving beneath your feet.

Taking in all the sights around you,

All the sensations.

Noticing the smells.

Hearing the animals and any other noises around you.

Feeling your breath moving into your body.

Releasing your worries.

Exhaling out your stresses.

Breathing in the joy of seeing this beautiful sunset.

Exhaling out your stresses.

Allowing your body to be fully in this moment.

And as the sun begins to set a little bit more,

Notice the colors of the sky.

Notice how they begin to shift.

Are they a vibrant pink?

A bright orange?

Or do you see the blue beginning to become even brighter?

Notice how the clouds begin through the sky.

And begin noticing the sky beginning to get brighter and brighter.

As the sun begins to set a little bit more.

Breathing in the joy and the gratitude for being able to witness this beautiful scenic sky.

And exhaling out the worries and the stress of the day.

Feeling the wind as it begins to really push away anything that is not serving you.

Feel as the earth supports you.

See the sun as it begins to set a little bit more.

Changing the colors of the sky.

Maybe changing the temperature of the air.

Feeling this joy and gratitude.

And the ease of watching this beautiful sunset in the distance.

And as the sun begins to set behind the horizon.

See the rays as they still come through.

Shooting up through the clouds into the sky.

Feel the earth supporting you.

Feel your breath moving through your body with effortlessness and ease.

As the sky takes colors and shapes and changes as the sun fully sets.

Notice behind you,

See the moon beginning to rise.

Notice if it's full or is it a half moon or just a slight sliver.

See that moon beginning to rise behind you.

And as the moon begins to rise,

Notice the shimmers of the stars beginning to come into view.

As day becomes night.

Releasing all the worries and the stress.

Feeling the joy and the gratitude to be able to witness the day becoming night.

Watch as the animals from the daytime go into their spaces for their deep slumber.

And feeling your breath moving through your whole being.

Feeling the release on your exhale.

And allowing yourself to just be.

To witness the earth going from day to night.

Allow yourself just to be.

Releasing the control of the breath and just feeling the breath moving in and out of your body effortlessly.

Watching the earth become night from day.

Knowing there's nowhere to be and nothing to do.

No worries to have,

But just to be.

Staying right here or slowly allowing that image to fade.

Slowly feeling the space around you in the room that you're in.

Slowly beginning to bring control back to your breath.

Slowly begin feeling your breath filling all the spaces again.

And slowly begin waking up your body if you need.

Wiggling your fingers and your toes.

Nodding your head no,

Nodding your head yes.

And slowly beginning to open your eyes.

And allowing yourself just to be present.

In the here and the now.

I thank you for going on this journey with me.

I hope you go in peace and ease.
