Explore MeditationSkye has always been drawn to inner exploration. She began practicing yoga at 17 by following YouTube videos in her bedroom, not realizing it would spark a lifelong path of healing, learning, and spiritual growth. Her journey has since led her through the worlds of philosophy, cultural study, and mindfulness. Skye holds degrees in Philosophy and Cultural Area Studies, and spent a transformative year studying abroad in Japan—an experience that deepened her appreciation for diversity, self-inquiry, and connection across cultures. She’s a member of Phi Sigma Tau, and holds several certifications in cultural competence, Japanese language, and inclusion, but more importantly, she values presence over perfection and authenticity over achievement. As a certified Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), Yin Yoga instructor, and Mindfulness Coach, Skye blends Eastern philosophy, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed care to create safe spaces for others to reconnect with themselves. She also brings a personal understanding of early life challenges, informed by both lived experience and training in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Her mission is simple: to help others feel seen, soften into who they are, and remember that their emotions are not obstacles—but doorways to a fuller life.
