Hello,

And welcome to your guided meditation with me,

Kumbi.

Today's meditation is entitled,

Calming the Mind.

So for those of you who have extra busy minds,

Lots of distracting thoughts,

Or feel weighed down mentally,

This meditation will serve you.

Let's go ahead and begin in a comfortable,

Relaxing position.

So for this one,

You can be laying down or sitting up.

Just go ahead and close your eyes,

Relax your jaw,

And take a few deep breaths here.

Breathing through your nose and exhaling out your mouth.

Just allowing the breath to relax you into this moment as we drop into that sacred space within reconnecting back to your quieter and calmer self.

Feeling your entire body just relaxed.

Visualize and imagine relaxing in a big,

Beautiful,

Bright green grassy field.

Laying down in the grass,

Soft,

Comforting,

Welcoming,

And supporting beneath you.

Above you,

The sky is blue.

You notice a few wispy clouds floating by.

Allowing the warm rays of sun to shine down on your face,

The cool breeze flowing over you.

You tilt your head up to receive the warm rays,

The cool breeze.

And you focus on the wispy clouds above.

The graceful way they move,

Almost dance amidst the clear sky blue backdrop.

The clouds you notice begin to move faster when you focus more.

When you begin to become aware of more clouds far beyond and closer,

Floating into the scene,

Adding more white to the white wisps in the sky.

The white and the clouds begin to become thicker,

Denser,

Puffier as they gradually grow,

Morph,

Shape,

Into moving nebulous clouds of aliveness.

Slowly overlapping each other and gradually covering the blueness of the sky beyond.

The white and the clouds covering the blue begin to turn a light gray,

Then become darker,

Stormier,

Louder,

More and more encompassing,

Dominating the once clear sky above you.

The space above you.

The space within you.

The space beneath you.

The space beneath you.

While you observe the storminess above you,

You witness your body holding tense,

Tight,

As you watch the stormy drama unfold in the sky above.

You realize your holding,

You realize your tension,

You realize your tightness as a response to what you are witnessing.

And then you remember,

And you begin to breathe deeper,

Begin to unclench,

Begin to release,

Begin to surrender.

The sky opens up,

The clouds are passing by,

Thinning out,

Beginning to allow more light and blue and warmth to shine through.

Years of light piercing through,

The clouds lighten,

Lengthen,

And thin.

The blue sky returns as if nothing happened.

And here you are again,

Having weathered the stormy darkness and witnessed your shift,

But then not forgetting that the skies open up when you relax to receive.

The calm returns when you begin from within.

The clouds come and go just like thoughts through your mind space.

We can witness the wonder,

The drama,

The show,

Without becoming it.

And just remember that we co-create when our awareness expands and we can shift into power and create as much as is being created.

Clear your mind,

Open to expansiveness,

Open to awareness,

Open to unending access to peace,

And the present moment.

Slowly coming back,

Wiggle your fingers,

Wiggle your toes,

Circle your ankles,

Circle your wrists.

Take a big inhale and stretch your arms all the way up behind your head.

Long exhalation.

Check in with yourself,

Check in with your body.

Notice how you feel,

Notice how your body feels now.

And gently when you're ready,

You can slowly open your eyes.
