New Moon Meditation To Manifest Intentions

Hello,

My name is Lara,

Thank you for joining me for this meditation practice in honor of the new moon.

So the new moon is the time when the moon is not visible in the sky,

It's the start of a lunar cycle,

And so it represents fresh beginnings and is a great time to set and manifest new intentions.

So if you haven't already,

Go ahead and find a comfortable position for you,

Either sitting upright with a straight spine,

Or feel free to lie down on your back if that feels more loving and supportive to you in this moment.

Once you're there,

Allow your eyes to gently close,

And place your hands wherever feels good,

Maybe with the palms down somewhere on the body if you're looking for extra grounding and support.

Just take three deep inhales and slow exhales together,

So empty any air out,

And big slow breath in,

Really filling the belly with air,

And then slowly exhale it out.

Then long deep inhale,

Imagining oxygen moving into every inch of the body,

And then let it out.

Last one,

Deep breath in,

And exhale,

Maybe with a sigh.

Beautiful.

You can let your breath fall back into its natural rhythm,

And now we're going to start relaxing our bodies,

Starting with the top of the head,

And moving all the way down to the toes.

So bring your awareness to the top of the head,

And imagine that a light is shining on it,

And this light is special because it makes all the muscles and parts of the body touch completely relaxed.

So start moving the light down the face,

Allowing the forehead to soften,

The mind to quiet behind it,

The eyes rest,

Unclenching the jaw,

And then it goes down the back of the head,

Onto the neck and throat,

And then allow the light to shine on and relax the shoulders,

Maybe they drop down a bit,

And then moving from the top of the right arm,

All the way down into the forearm,

The wrist,

The palm,

The hand,

And into each finger.

Then starting at the top of the left arm and moving down,

And then to the forearm,

The wrist and hand,

And into each finger,

And moving from the top of the chest,

Feeling this light shine on it,

Feeling it on your heart space,

Maybe the heart opens a little bit more,

And then moving down the belly,

Into each organ,

Beautiful,

And then taking your awareness to the top of the back,

And moving it down the upper back,

Maybe releasing something you've been carrying,

Down the mid back,

And lower back,

And then this light releases all tension in the pelvis and hips,

Your seat,

And then starting at the top of the right leg and moving down the thigh,

The knee,

The shin and calf,

The ankle,

Into the foot and heel,

And each toe,

Then starting at the top of the left leg and moving down the thigh,

The knee,

The shin and calf,

The ankle,

Into the heel and the rest of the foot,

And each toe,

Feel this relaxing light encompassing your entire body,

Allowing your entire body to soften and release with this healing energy,

Beautiful.

Now imagine you're in a white room with one door,

And you know that when you go and open that door,

It'll lead to yourself one year in the future,

The future you that is living your dream life,

Your future self could be at home,

On vacation,

On a retreat,

Anywhere in the world,

So start walking to the door,

Place your hand on the doorknob,

And open it to find your one year into the future self,

Notice where they are,

What can you see,

Hear,

Smell,

Now go up to your future self,

You can take their hands and yours,

Look them in the eyes,

And ask how they're feeling,

And just listen,

And now ask your future self,

What do I need to know right now,

What do I need to do to get to where you are,

Ask them any other questions you have,

Or just be with them,

Beautiful.

Give yourself a big hug,

And say thank you,

I love you,

And then start to get up and make your way out and back into that white room,

You can let that visualization go,

Take a deep breath in,

And exhale,

And now repeat the following phrases after me,

Either out loud or in your head,

I am worthy of the life I desire,

I am worthy of love,

I am worthy of happiness,

I am worthy of peace,

I am worthy of abundance,

I have unlimited potential,

I am following my dreams,

Allow these affirmations and beliefs to sink deep into your being,

Feeling it in your mind,

Your body,

And your spirit,

Beautiful,

Now I invite you to extend gratitude to yourself for taking the time to do this practice,

And show yourself love in this way,

Start to gently come back to the present moment,

Maybe wiggling the fingers and toes,

Inviting movement slowly back into the body,

Maybe taking the arms overhead,

Or stretching in any way that feels good,

And then taking as much time as you'd like,

Whenever you feel ready,

You can slowly and gently open your eyes,
