Transcript

Finding a comfortable position to sit or lie down.

And gently closing the eyes when you're ready.

Or a soft gaze downward if that feels better.

And beginning by taking a few deep,

Settling breaths.

Inhaling through the nose,

Holding at the top.

And exhaling through the mouth.

And again inhaling through the nose.

Holding at the top.

And exhaling through the mouth.

One more just like that,

Inhaling through the nose.

Holding.

And exhaling.

Returning to the natural breath.

Allowing the breath to remain soft and easy.

How does the body know it's breathing?

And where in the body do you feel the breath the strongest?

Perhaps noticing the rise and fall of the chest.

Or the contraction and expansion of the abdomen.

Perhaps noticing the sensation of air flowing in and out of the nose.

Resting in the sensation of breathing.

Meeting each breath with curiosity.

Meeting each breath with kindness.

Each breath a chance to begin again.

Reminding you that you are resilient.

Each breath a chance to let go.

Letting go of judgment,

Expectations,

Doubts,

Fear.

Letting go of control.

Just simply being here.

Letting go and beginning again.

Each breath evolving.

Each breath growing.

Each breath blossoming.

Feeling the vitality in each breath.

Savoring each breath.

You are resilient.

You are like the ocean.

Serene and calm at your core.

You are resilient.

Letting go and beginning again.

Each breath.

Each moment.

You are resilient.

Grounded in kindness and love.

Always evolving and always transforming.

You are resilient.

And beginning to deepen the breath.

Being supported and held by the earth.

Opening your awareness to sound.

While you are wiggling the fingers and the toes.

And coming out of practice and opening your eyes when you are ready.

Letting go and beginning again.

Each breath evolving.

Your meditations are just what I needed today. I was feeling very sad & not strong at all. My husband has cancer & is in pain from his treatments. It is so hard to see him like this & for me not to be able to fix it for him. Between this meditation & the other short one - I thank you. For permission to be sad, to be down & to remember that despite this, I am resilient & strong. 🙏🏽
