5 minutes of self love.
As we begin,
Make yourself comfortable.
Close down your eyes or lower your gaze.
Relax your eyes,
Relax your ears,
Relax your jaw.
Release your shoulders down,
Allowing your heart to naturally open.
Invite the corner of your lips to rise slightly.
Your back strong and tall,
The front of your body soft.
Bring your awareness to your breath,
Drawing your breath down into your heart,
As if you're breathing in and out of your heart.
With each breath into the heart,
Say,
I am loved.
And with each breath out,
I belong.
Breathing in,
I am loved.
Breathing out,
I belong.
Notice how your breath anchors you into the present moment,
Where you are safe and relaxed.
Bring to mind a time when you felt valued,
Accepted,
Loved.
A time of deep connection,
Attunement.
A time of joy,
Appreciation,
Of profound and unconditional love.
Allow yourself the time to experience and tune into the feelings of being loved and appreciated.
Notice how it feels to be held in loving kindness.
How this energy influences your mind,
Your body,
Your soul.
Inside of you is an eternal spring of loving kindness that you can tap into at any time you choose.
Allow this energy to grow and flow outwards into the space around you,
Spreading out,
Reaching as far as you can imagine.
Trust in the knowing that there is an endless supply for you and for others.
Placing your hands on your heart now,
Repeat after me,
May I be happy,
May I be well,
May I be filled with loving kindness,
May I be at peace.
Becoming aware of your surroundings,
Opening your eyes and returning to the world around you.
May the feelings of loving kindness remain a part of your day,
Today and every day.
