The focus of the meditation ‘Wishes for everyone’ is to answer the question: “What do I wish for myself, others and The World?”. You’ll tune into your breath, the sensations in your body and reflect on what you’d like to see happening around you. You’ll also evaluate what positive changes are most needed and important according to you. What are you wishing for? This self-inquiry exercise is part of the journal 'Goodbye Old. Hello New.’ which is written by Marianne de Kuyper.

Hello and welcome to goodbye old,

Hello new.

In these meditations we reflect on the year that's behind us and on the year to come.

In this meditation we will reflect on you,

Others,

And the world.

What do you wish for yourself,

Others,

And the world for the coming year?

Make yourself comfortable,

Tune into your breath,

Feel the breath in your body and think about it.

You,

Others,

The world.

What do you wish for yourself,

For others,

And for the world around you?

What are your wishes?

What are your wishes?

What would you like to see happening around you,

Not only for yourself,

But also others and the world?

So the people that you do know and the people you haven't met yet.

And maybe also,

Not only for the people around you,

But also the place where you live,

The nature around you,

And Mother Earth.

What are your wishes?

What is most important to you?

So what is most important to you and what are you wishing for?

And how about maybe choosing three words that reflect what is most important to you and what you wish for?

And how about maybe putting these words up somewhere where you will be able to see them often as a gentle reminder of what you're wishing for and also what you would like to work towards too.

As a kind push into a new direction so that you can take the steps daily to make those wishes come true.

So what are you wishing for and what could you do on a daily basis to make these wishes come true?

What can you do?

So what are you wishing for?

What is most important to you and what could you do on a daily basis to make these wishes come true?

And feel free to stay with those questions.

You can rephrase them if that feels right to you.

And feel free to stay with it a little longer.

Stay with the questions or let them be.

Let them be and move back to the breath.

Notice the breath again in the body.

Let the mind rest on the breath and feel the body again.

Feel the breath in the body and stay here a little longer.

And whenever you're ready to finish the meditation,

You gently open your eyes and you gently move into the rest of your day.
