This meditation is a meditation for busy people.
This 3 minute meditation will bring a spacious and ease of awareness into the moment.
At the sound of the bell,
Find a comfortable position with your eyes closed or opened.
Take a deep long breath and as you exhale,
Do this slowly.
Take an easy,
Full,
Deep breath in through your nose and then gently and steady let the breath out.
As you breathe in,
You may say body breathing.
And as you breathe out,
You may say body sitting.
As you drift into stillness,
You may feel the heaviness of your body sitting.
We welcome that feeling as we enter this state of calm,
Spacious and grounded awareness.
Find your own rhythm.
Breathing in,
Calming the mind.
Breathing out,
Calming the mind.
If thoughts or worry or concerns pop in your mind,
Simple and easy going back to the breath and the body sitting in this moment of spaciousness,
Awareness,
And now bringing our mind back to our body.
Wiggling your fingers and your toes and at the sound of the bell,
Opening your eyes.
And as you open your eyes,
Bringing in this spacious ease of awareness into the moment,
Into the rest of your day,
Your morning,
Your afternoon,
Or your night.
