Good morning.

As we get ready to start this day,

Let's take a moment and close our eyes and just pay attention to the sounds around us.

You may hear the birds chirping outside your window.

You may hear somebody else in the house rummaging around or making coffee.

But for right now,

You are here and you are still.

You're right here with your breath.

Notice your inhales and your exhales.

Notice how calm you feel as you breathe in and out.

This is all you have to do right at this moment is breathe in and out.

Put aside the thoughts of your to-do list for today.

It'll still be there when you're done with this meditation.

And take the moment to just be and to breathe.

Your breath will be with you for the entire day.

It will be there for you when you may have anxious thoughts.

It will be there for you when you start to lose focus.

It will be there for you through the good parts of the day and the rough parts.

Your breath is your lifeline.

And for this morning,

Remember to breathe.

And as you get ready to start the day,

Remind yourself that you are enough.

That you've got the skills.

Remind yourself that you're confident and you're going to be okay.

And remind yourself to breathe.
