Aleksandar Popovic is the founder of Maverick Adventures and the host of immersive, in-person walking and movement based retreats designed to build mental clarity, physical resilience, and self-trust. With a background in high-performance sales environments, team leadership, and years of solo and group travel, Aleksandar’s work is shaped by lived experience rather than theory alone. His approach to wellbeing is grounded, practical, and movement-led, using long-distance walking, structured reflection, and physical challenge as tools for personal reset and growth. After recovering from a serious ACL injury, Alex deepened his understanding of discipline, patience, and the connection between physical movement and mental resilience. This experience now informs the retreats he leads, which focus on consistency, body awareness, and rebuilding confidence through purposeful effort.
