So we're going to start with our feet planted on the floor and our knees slightly bent.
Welcome to your guided movement meditation.
This is Michelle Hillier and the song is called Wings of Love.
Let's start with our hands just over our heart and take a nice beautiful breath into that space.
You can choose to have your eyes open or closed for this meditation which is we're going to explore through some movement.
Slight bend in your knees and you can feel that beat or hear that beat in the music.
Start getting curious about swaying side to side.
Nice.
Open the muscles of the face.
Drop the shoulders.
Keep breathing.
And as you bend your knees a little bit more,
Perhaps that movement starts to track up to your hips.
Swinging side to side.
Again,
Eyes are open or closed.
Start to breathe into that movement a little bit more and get a little bit curious about how big your hips can get involved in this movement.
Perhaps the torso.
Soften the jaw.
Relax the face.
You might even want to take your neck and lengthen it as you drop your chin down to your chest.
Whatever you're doing,
Feel really good.
You may even want to start to pick up those feet and step to the beat of the music as you sway.
Beautiful work.
Breathing in and out.
Exhales and exhales.
Now as you're swaying side to side,
Perhaps you want to get those arms and elbows and wrists involved.
You'd be a little bit curious and explore what they can do above your torso.
There's no wrong way to move here.
Breathing in and out.
And if your eyes are open slightly,
Gazing forward,
You have the option to also travel this through the space that you're in.
You want to stay on the spot with your eyes closed.
It's all good.
And you're just connecting to that music,
Into that beat,
Into our breath.
So good.
Side to side.
Step in with the feet.
And gather your hands to heart center again.
Plant the feet.
Take a nice big breath in.
Exhale.
And blink open your eyes.
Thank you for moving with me.
See you next time.
