The breath’s natural flow is like a dance. Just as our bodies form a rhythm, our breath can as well. In this simple guided breathwork practice, you will be guided with music to take your inhales and exhales on a dance.

Hello,

And welcome to your Breathwork Meditation.

This is going to be a much more active and engaged experience today,

And we are going to focus on our breath,

And I'm calling this the Dance of the Breath.

So for this session today,

I'd like you to be lying down on your back.

So you can be on your couch,

On your bed,

On the floor,

On a mat,

Whichever is comfortable for you,

But find a place you're not going to be able to get tempted to move.

Take your hands by your side,

Palms up,

Let your feet flop open,

Close down the eyes,

And let's start with one huge,

Delicious inhale,

And then as you let go through the mouth and sigh,

I'd like you to let go of everything.

Let it go.

I'm going to guide you in this experience,

And we're going to go to the beats of the music,

Starting with four inhales and six exhales through the nose.

In,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Inhale through the nose,

And let it go out the nose,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Fill it up.

In,

Two,

Three,

Four,

And out,

Two,

There is no top,

There is no bottom,

Five,

And six.

It's like an infinite loop,

Three,

Four,

Exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Now four and four in the nose,

In,

Two,

Three,

Out the mouth,

Three,

Four,

Inhale through the nose,

Exhale through the mouth,

Yeah,

Good,

Inhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Out the mouth,

Let some sound go,

Inhale,

Two,

Three,

Fill it up,

Let it go,

One more,

Let it go.

I invite you to take both hands and place them on your lower belly,

Just resume natural breathing,

Feel if any sensations have arisen in your body,

Maybe some tingling,

Maybe some movement of energy,

Maybe some temperature changes,

Just resume natural breathing.

We're going to go back to the four and the six,

I'll guide you,

Great job everybody.

Here we go,

And in,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Out the nose,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

And hold,

Breathe it in,

Here we go,

In through the nose,

And three,

Four,

In,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

One more,

And let it go at the nose,

Back to the nose and mouth,

In through the nose,

And out through the mouth,

In,

Two,

Three,

To follow the beat,

You're doing a great job,

In,

Two,

Three,

Through the nose,

Out the mouth,

Two,

Three,

Fill it up,

Feel that belly expand,

Let your hands move,

And exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Last one,

And out the mouth,

Take one more big sip in,

And hold it at the top,

Hold your breath,

Think about suspending it,

Not tensing it,

Hold,

Hold,

For three,

Two,

One,

Let's resume a natural breath,

Notice sensations now,

How do you feel?

We're going to finalize this with two and two,

So it's a little bit more dynamic,

And it's going to be two and two,

In the mouth,

And out the mouth,

But it's not going to go long,

Come with me,

Here we go,

In,

Two,

Out,

Two,

In,

Two,

Out,

Two,

Four more,

In,

And out,

This is it,

In,

And out,

Beautiful work everyone,

Go back to resuming natural breathing,

Take your hands back to the sides of your body,

Now notice your final sensation,

How do you feel?

Beautiful work today everybody,

Thank you for dancing your breath with me,

Who thought we could do that?

Enjoy the rest of your day.
