Take a deep breath in and out.
Take another deep breath in.
Focus on where in your body you feel your breath.
Breathing out.
And as you take another deep breath in,
Start to also focus on how this breath makes you feel.
Exhale,
Releasing fear.
And with the next inhale,
Breathe in courage.
And with each exhale,
Release the unknown.
And with each inhale,
Breathe in confidence.
Breathing normally now.
Would you rather breathe deeply or breathe slowly now?
You choose.
In a moment,
You're going to have the choice to go into a relaxed awareness,
Quickly or slowly,
Lightly or deeply.
And you can choose.
So,
When you are ready to go into a relaxed awareness now,
Close your eyes and look inwards as you make your choice.
And as easily as you make your choice,
You go deeper and deeper into relaxed awareness.
Focusing all your attention on the ebb and flow of your breath.
As you climb down,
Each movement feels natural and easy as you feel the cool breeze of the waterfall next to you.
And as you climb further and further down,
The rumble gets louder and louder.
Eventually you reach the bottom.
As you observe the roaring waterfall,
You notice rainbows shining out in all directions as the droplets of water bounce around chaotically,
Hypnotically.
As you reach out to touch these rainbows,
You find yourself caught up in the turbulence of the water,
Bouncing around as if you were a water droplet.
Now is there a part of you that wants to let go now?
Perhaps there was a time in the future that when you think of it,
You became nervous.
Go now to that time and place and observe as the scene plays out exactly as you want it to.
Notice what you do.
Notice the actions you take.
The sounds.
Scents.
And scenery.
As the scene plays out exactly the way you want it.
The colours become brighter and the images become bigger.
Any feelings you have are intensified until you can feel nothing else except the feeling of everything working out for you.
Now go further into the future,
To a time when everything is already exactly the way you want it.
And as you immerse yourself in that scene,
Remember how you once dreamt of this life now.
It is reality,
That's right.
And as you notice the feelings and sensations of this new reality,
What is it that you are seeing?
What is it that you are hearing?
What is it that you are thinking?
How can you really anchor yourself in this time and space when everything is already exactly the way you want it?
If you could send a message to your past self,
What would it be?
What lessons would you want them to know?
What beliefs would you want them to have?
What obstacles have they overcome?
What is it that you want them to know now?
You will begin to notice that every time you feel doubt,
It will be quickly or slowly,
Lightly or deeply replaced with self-belief.
Your attitude will be of grounded confidence,
As stable and certain as the ground beneath your feet.
And because of this,
Any present or future events that cause you to feel nervousness,
Will be replaced with the knowing that you are growing.
I once heard of a river so beautiful and vibrant that merely hearing its sound would immerse you in feelings of compassion,
Courage and congruent confidence.
You might have noticed the waters have calmed and you can now see the riverbed beneath you.
You may choose to stand as the water flows gently past you.
Or you may choose to float effortlessly down this river,
Bringing you increasingly closer to your next destination.
You've learned how to find the resources inside that you want and need to make life positive and rewarding,
That inspire you to take powerful,
Decisive action and amplify them.
And with every breath you take and with every beat of your heart,
The more positive you are every day and every way,
You get better and better.
You know that no matter where you go,
No matter what happens,
You've got this.
And those other resources to back you up,
Knowing that wherever you go,
You're the master.
You know how to control your state,
You know how to radiate power and authority wherever you go.
In this moment or the next,
Start to feel yourself returning to the now.
Bringing with you all those wonderful feelings and messages.
Staying present within your body,
Noticing the rise and fall of your breath.
When you are ready to feel courage,
Compassion and congruent confidence,
Open your eyes and continue with your day or night.
