This is a meditation for finding calm.
Begin in a comfortable seated position.
I invite you now to take a deep breath in and when you're comfortable,
Begin to close your eyes.
Now imagine yourself becoming calmer,
More peaceful,
More focused.
Place your hands on your stomach and take two to three breaths.
Notice your stomach rising and falling with each breath in and each breath out.
When we quieten the mind,
The soul will speak.
The stiller we are,
The calmer life is.
We humans have lost the wisdom of genuinely resting and relaxing.
We worry too much.
We don't allow our bodies to heal and we don't allow our minds and hearts to heal.
Now let yourself be filled with ease,
Serenity,
Bliss and deep loving relaxation.
Breathe in,
Breathe out and let go.
Breathe out.
Breathe out.

Breathe out.
Now slowly bring your awareness back to your breath.
Deep breath in and let it go.
Every each day is another chance at a fresh start and every night a chance to leave behind whatever doesn't serve you.
Know that no matter what happens,
It will all work out the way it's meant to.
Every breath is a gift.
Now bring your hands up overhead and down to your heart.
Put your hands to your heart.
Do you feel that?
Your heart beating?
That's called purpose.
You're alive for a reason.
