Hello and welcome to this gratitude meditation that will help you channel your love to another so that you can receive it right back.
My name is Juana and I am delighted to help you connect to more admiration and appreciation today.
Once you've found yourself a comfortable space,
Please close your eyes and take a few deep calming breaths to relax both your body and mind.
Feeling your chest rise and fall with each conscious inhale and exhale.
Today we will focus on offering appreciation for others.
After all,
It's not where you are in life,
It's who you have by your side that matters.
Simply put,
Life is sweeter when shared.
So I'd like you to bring to mind someone in your life who's been a dear friend or family member to you or someone you idolize and look up to,
Someone that inspires you.
See them in your mind's eye sitting right across from you with a big warm open smile on their face.
Take these next few moments to think about all the ways this person has brought happiness into your life.
How have they supported you and made a positive impact on your well-being?
How have they helped you to grow?
Does any one particular memory with them come to mind?
Allow yourself to receive that memory now.
Next,
Feel the gratitude for the good fortune of having this person in your life.
How does this gratitude manifest in you?
Is it a feeling of warmth in your heart or belly?
Perhaps a smile has manifested on your face or is it more a general sense of peace and contentment?
Silently express your heartfelt thanks to them along with anything else you may want to communicate.
Now take all these positive emotions you're feeling and channel them to this person.
Visualize this as a white light emanating from your heart center and pouring directly into their heart as they stand across from you.
Witness their elation as they absorb all that appreciation from you.
They're radiating in your light.
Notice how good it feels to share love like this and how in giving it,
You also feel elated too.
And on some energetic level,
I bet you that they feel it too.
Soak all of this devotion in and with your next breath,
Slowly start coming back to the present moment.
Wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
And open your eyes feeling refreshed and thankful for this wonderful person that graces your life.
Expressing gratitude for your friends and family is a powerful way to not only cultivate gratitude,
But also strengthen these relationships.
As you've experienced here today,
When you express love and appreciation,
The sender feels that love as much as the receiver.
So make it a daily habit to practice and express gratitude for all those who make your life brighter by returning to this meditation regularly.
