Hello and welcome to this meditation that will help you tip the scales in your favor.
My name is Juana and I am delighted you are here with me today.
We will begin with a short relaxing practice,
Matching the length of your inhale with your exhale.
Let's get right to it.
Breathe in through your nose to your own count of 5 and breathe right back out through your nose to the same count of 5.
We'll do it together once,
So breathe in 1,
2,
3,
4,
5 and breathe out 5,
4,
3,
2.
Repeat this pattern on your own,
In for 5 and out for 5.
Feel yourself getting more grounded and relaxed with every breath cycle.
One last 5 and 5 and then return to a breathing pace that is most comfortable to you.
Today we will shift our mindset around any problem we may currently be facing.
Go ahead and bring that difficulty or worry to mind right now and sit with it for a bit.
Contemplate the nature of it.
How does it feel?
Do any sensations show up in your body just thinking about it?
Do you have a hard time putting it to rest?
Trust me,
I can relate.
You see,
Once our mind latches onto an issue,
It's very hard letting it go.
We may find ourselves stuck in a continuous negative mental loop that's very hard to escape.
Like attracts like,
Negative attracts negative.
That's why it's so important to replace this loop with a more positive one.
Just like you focused your mind on the 5 breath counts,
You also have the power to focus on everything that is going right in your life and in doing so,
Gain a greater perspective that indeed the majority of things are working out for you.
So naturally,
This will too.
I'd like you to now visualize a scale with two opposing sides in your mind's eye.
Imagine whatever is troubling you on the left side of the scale,
Your worries tipping the scale down in that direction.
Now let's tip the scale in the opposite right direction by bringing to mind 10 things that are going smoothly in your life.
So what is going right in your life?
They don't have to be particularly profound or big things.
You could just be thankful that you have an internet you can connect to so you can listen to this meditation.
From your health to your job or hobbies,
To your home,
Car or possessions,
All the way to your friendships and connections.
What is going right in your life?
See that scale gradually tipping towards the right as you bring to mind more and more positive aspects until the good in your life far outweighs the bad.
If you've already thought of 10 things,
That's great.
Keep on going.
I'll give you a few more moments.
Feel gratitude envelop your entire body for all the blessings,
Both big and small,
That enrich in your life.
Law of attraction dictates that what you focus on,
You attract.
What you give your attention to is what dominates your life.
So why not consciously tip the scales in your favor?
As you continue on with your day and for the week,
I challenge you to outweigh any negative,
Disempowering thoughts by stopping them dead in their tracks with 10 positive ones and then see what a difference it makes for you.
Focus on the good and you'll get the good.
It's now time to transition out of this meditation.
So when you're ready,
Feel your earth to ground connection rooting you into the here and now.
Wiggle your fingers,
Bend your toes,
And flutter open your eyes.
