In this intuitively guided meditation, we will relax deeper into our bodies by following our breath as it flows within us, bringing vibrancy and ease into our being. By allowing our awareness to open to breath as the vibrant life moving within us, even in the places that feel stuck, we will allow new spaciousness and aliveness to enter our experience.

Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.

We'll begin just by taking a comfortable seat or you can also lie down or stand up,

Whatever feels right in your body for this moment.

You can close your eyes and just allow your body to breathe however the breath flows right now.

How does it feel in the body to take this position that you have chosen?

Is it easy to relax into it or is there a willingness to adjust,

To move?

Just notice that and allow your body to make adjustments if they truly are needed.

There is no need to hold a certain rigid posture,

The meditation posture.

Just allow your body to land in itself,

Whatever that feels like to you right now.

As the breath flows in and out,

In and out,

You can begin to allow the breath to flow through the whole body not merely the lungs and the throat,

Nose or the mouth.

But what if you could allow your whole body to breathe through the skin,

Through the organs,

Through the bones and tissues,

In all directions,

In and out.

If there is tightness or unease somewhere in the body,

What if the breath just flew through that,

Even in the most dense places within your body?

The skeletal structure breathing.

Allowing a small vibration all around the body and around it.

The breath flowing in the legs,

Toes and knees,

In the depth of your belly and pelvis,

Chest and shoulders,

Arms and out the fingertips and back in again.

Can you trust the breath even in the places where you cannot sense it?

Can you allow the breath to flow freely and trust the flow even if your awareness cannot reach it at this moment?

As you allow the body to do what it does best,

Breathing,

A vibrancy enters your being,

In the density of your bones,

Tight muscles,

A new kind of dance enters,

Beginning to create spaciousness.

The breath flows in and out throughout the body without any conscious effort,

Whether it is shallow or deep.

Maybe somewhere in the body you feel a push or a pull,

Feeling like your body is not doing this right and the breath isn't flowing.

You feel a need to change it,

Correct it,

Do something about it.

What if the breath flows through all of that as well,

Through all the trying and the perceived flow?

The breath doesn't differentiate between right or wrong,

Correct or incorrect,

It simply flows.

And even in the most dense places there is an ease to it,

Even through all kinds of resistance,

The breath simply flows with ease.

Your perception of the breath might be colored by attitudes,

By our experiences,

But the breath flows freely and with ease through all of that,

For it is the nature of breath,

Of life.

And when we take our awareness to the breath instead of our perception of it,

We become that ease.

The ease that doesn't deny hurdles or blocks or density,

Resistance,

It simply flows through all that without judgment,

Vibrating within all that is,

The life within all that is.

The vibrating life within the soles of your feet,

Connecting to the earth.

The vibrating life in your veins and bones,

The protective tissues and muscles,

The vibrating life within your eyes that see the world,

The vibrating life within your torso and your internal organs,

The vibrating life around you.

Now take a deep breath through the nose,

Rolling through the chest to your deep belly and breathing out back the same root and while the breath flows through the nose and throat and the lungs,

At the same time breath flows through all of your body.

You might open your eyes while keeping that awareness within your body of breath flowing in all directions,

With ease through even the densest places within and without.

Bring one hand to your belly,

Another to touch your heart and feel the breath move your body,

Your belly and the chest,

Move the air around you flowing in and out,

In and out,

Like it does all the time.

Thank you for joining me in this guided meditation.

I hope you are feeling vibrant and alive within your body and I hope you carry this sense of aliveness with you throughout the day or throughout the night and enjoy it.

Thank you.
