Make yourself comfortable.
Take a deep breath in and allow yourself to slow down.
Just for now,
Just for this time,
Let go of any judgments you have about how you feel.
Let go of making yourself wrong in any way.
And breathe.
Give yourself permission to just feel the way you do.
Recognizing that this is all part of your journey.
Breathe.
With each breath,
Your mind understands that it does not have to control anything right now.
Imagine possibility coming in.
Just riding the breath into your body.
And as you exhale,
Ride that feeling of release.
Notice any sensations you might be having in your feet.
Any sensations you might be having in your calves.
Your knees.
Your thighs.
Maybe you want to settle into a slightly more comfortable position.
That's okay.
Notice any sensations around your hips and your buttocks.
Keep breathing.
Notice any sensations in your abdomen.
Feel the muscles letting go in your shoulders and neck.
Feel tightness in your jaw muscles releasing.
Any tension around your eyes.
And now bring your awareness to the space around your body.
Feel the warm vibration that settles in with mindful breathing.
Now,
Imagine yourself at a beach on a beautiful tropical island.
It's mid-morning and you gaze out over the water.
You feel the warmth of the sun and the sand.
You hear the sound of the gentle surf lapping at the shore.
This island is your refuge.
It exists just for you.
This is where you're going to heal.
Now,
From behind you,
You hear the sound of a boisterous crowd of people.
You turn around to see emerging from the jungle this group of people.
And you recognize them.
They're all from your life.
They're walking toward you on a direct line toward the water.
And you realize that these are people who have harmed you or caused you pain.
You notice that someone is dragging a footlocker through the sand and pasted all over it.
They're what look like shipping labels.
But rather than addresses,
There are the words,
My shame,
My regrets,
My resentments.
So this noisy crowd of people walk right past you,
They don't even look at you.
You turn to watch them go by and see that a boat has come ashore.
Now,
You notice that the last person in the crowd is different.
She's a majestic figure,
A woman,
A goddess.
And she is gently yet powerfully herding the last of these people toward the boat.
And they all begin to get on the boat.
The majestic goddess turns and approaches you.
And she stops in front of you and your eyes meet.
And you realize that she is here to help you.
She's here to help you heal.
The two of you stand in silence and watch the boat with all those people on it cast off.
There's no room on this island for the past,
For the pain and suffering that you've experienced,
For judgment and negativity.
You and your healing goddess plop down in the sand and together breathe deeply.
And as you do,
You become aware of the space that has been cleared in your mind and body by all of the negative things you just let go of,
Things that now appear as a dot on the ocean's horizon.
Your healing goddess takes hold of your hand and you understand that it's safe to open up now.
It's safe to let go of control and allow healing to take place.
So you breathe deeply and you feel yourself open to new energy and information.
And as you exhale,
You feel the last of the old energy and information moving out and floating away toward that distant horizon.
Keep your attention on each breath and the movement of energy coming in on that breath and then flowing out of your body.
Feel the expansion of space in your lungs with each breath.
And imagine that with each breath,
The rest of your body creates space.
Imagine this expansion in all the tissues,
In the muscle,
The bones,
In your organs.
Your space opening up within each molecule and cell,
Within each atom.
Researchers tell us that on the subatomic level,
We are far more space than matter.
And attention placed on the energy in this space creates matter.
So this is where I want you to keep your awareness while you let go of all the material definitions of yourself.
In the same way you let go of people and events from your past,
I want you to surrender all connection to the material you.
Stay with your breath.
Keeping your attention and your awareness on the energy in the non-material realm,
In the space within each atom,
And then by extension bringing your awareness to the volume of infinite space that is our universe.
And bringing your awareness to the frequency of the energy in this space.
And imagine this energy synchronizing with the energy of your healing goddess.
Just stay with your breath.
And imagine that you are breathing your goddess.
And in turn,
She is breathing you.
And imagine that you are breathing your goddess.
Now,
From this purely energetic realm of nothingness,
I want you to state your clear intention for health.
What do you want?
And then I want you to step into that future right now.
You've arrived.
You have manifested that intention.
It has happened.
So what is it like?
What are you doing?
Who are you with?
Where are you and what does it look like?
And how does it feel?
How does it feel to be empowered?
How does it feel to be free?
How are you expressing your love?
Now,
Feel the gratitude.
Your feelings of gratitude are the clearest signal to your body to begin the healing process.
Your expression of gratitude is a signal to your body that you have gotten out of the way.
You've taken all the thoughts,
All the emotions,
All the old stories,
And your body is now free to do what it does best.
What are the words that best express your gratitude?
How are you showing your gratitude?
Feel that.
It's so important to feel this.
And now,
I want you to bring your awareness back to your tropical island.
Your healing goddess sits before you,
Looking into your eyes.
In this moment of deep soul gazing,
I want you to give your healing intention,
Every beautiful detail,
Your feelings,
Your gratitude,
And with the words this or something better,
Give them to your healing goddess.
Take a deep breath.
Now you can slowly begin to return to this reality,
Knowing you are loved and cared for,
Knowing you are powerful,
Knowing that you've begun to let go of the past,
And in doing so,
You've begun to break old habits of thought and feeling,
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
