Take a moment to feel your body.
Make any small adjustments you need to help release As and when you come across tension,
Let it go and relax the body.
Let your attention scan down through your head,
Face,
Neck,
And throat.
Your shoulders,
Belly,
Pelvic floor,
And inner thighs.
Let your attention come to settle in the centre of your chest.
Notice if you tend to stay in the head and look down to the place you call the chest.
This is okay to begin with if it helps bring more sensitivity to the chest area.
However,
Ideally we want to feel from within the sensations and experiences present in the centre of the chest.
Resting the attention in the chest,
Become aware of the breath as it flows freely in and out.
How you are breathing is not so important as long as it is relaxed and free.
Here what is important is the awareness of the experience of breathing.
Specifically,
Open to feel the sensation of the breath flowing inside the chest.
So gently and without expectation,
Guide the attention into the centre of the chest.
Just feeling,
Opening to the gentle caress of the breathing sensations within the chest area.
As if you are gently blowing on an ember in a sleepy fire,
Inviting it back to life.
If the mind wanders,
No worries,
Gently come back to the heart.
Become interested in and open to feel the gentle caress of the breath.
Little by little,
Sensitising you to the dimension of your heart.
Begin to notice the subtle sensations of the breath in the chest.
Maybe an aliveness is felt.
Maybe something else.
It doesn't matter what you feel,
What matters is that you can feel.
Even the perception of nothingness is perception.
It's common that the heart space feels unfamiliar,
Unexplored.
Don't worry,
Just keep breathing,
Feeling,
Opening.
So feel.
Feel.
Yes,
Feel again.
Feel.
Flow.
Become fascinated with this perhaps quite new and exciting discovery.
The domain of aliveness and intimacy slowly being revealed in your heart.
Keep breathing,
Perceiving the sensations,
The energies that move within the heart.
Visualise breathing and blowing on the orange,
Warm ember of your heart.
Thoughts may come,
Don't feed them with attention.
Just rest in the heart.
Effortlessly feeling whatever comes.
Blowing upon the ember of the heart once more.
Igniting your heart.
Remembering your inherent wakefulness.
Aliveness.
Feel more alive.
Feel awakening and anything else that comes.
Feel.
Any stored emotions in your heart,
Invite it out to be transformed in the fire of your open heart.
Feel.
Stay in this alchemy.
Trust in the power of your heart and find strength in this beauty.
Hold yourself.
Resting in trust in the heart is how you turn the lead into gold.
This alchemical fire of the heart can turn anything that comes into an opportunity to become free.
As your heart opens,
Feel an incredible strength being born.
A shimmering,
Radiant love that can hold no matter what.
Say yes to this process.
Blow on the ember of your heart.
Igniting your inner power.
In your heart,
There is a mysterious vibration.
Keep breathing.
Feel the caress of the breath.
Feel the energetic presence of your heart.
Feel this mysterious vibration.
This vibration is a reflection of the divine in your being.
This vibration is the vibratory power that gives rise to your individual experience.
The heart is a gateway on one side.
There is a universal ocean of infinite potential.
On the other is the flow of the river of your life.
Trust the flow of this river.
Breathe and blow on your heart's ember and fire.
Let the mind rest in the beauty of this pulsation.
Let the awareness of this pulsation infuse the mind with trust,
With deep peace.
Simply breathing into this sacred center.
Letting thoughts come and go without following them.
