Thank you for joining me for this guided meditation in a forest walk.
You can use this meditation anytime that you feel like you want to connect to your own inner wisdom or find a peaceful place within yourself.
So I invite you to find a place that's comfortable where you can lay down or sit down and feel relaxed and undistracted.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Begin to watch your breath just for a moment.
Just watch your breath bringing your attention back to this moment in time.
Just gently allowing your awareness to rest on that breath.
Just breathing in and breathing out.
And then begin to imagine yourself standing at the edge of a vast and mystical forest.
The top trees are tall and majestic and the air is filled with a sweet scent of flowers and leaves.
The sun is shining brightly and you feel a sense of warmth and comfort as you step into the forest.
As you start to walk,
You notice that the ground beneath you is feeling soft and spongy.
You feel a sense of calm and peace as you breathe in the fresh air and listen to the sounds of nature all around you.
You can hear the gentle rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds and the soft gurgling of a stream nearby.
Take just a moment to be in touch with your senses.
Explore the forest that is around you.
As you continue walking,
You notice the different colors and shapes of the trees around you.
Some of them have large broad leaves while others have slender trunks and delicate branches.
You can see different types of flowers and plants growing on the forest floor.
It all adds the beauty of this magical place.
Continue to breathe in the beautiful air around you,
Smelling the smells of the forest,
Looking at the sights that you see.
You feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed as you continue to walk through the forest.
You can feel a cool breeze brushing past your face and the warmth of the sun on your skin.
You take a deep breath and feel your body becoming lighter and more relaxed with each exhale.
As you walk deeper into the forest,
You notice a small clearing ahead.
As you step into it,
You find yourself surrounded by a ring of ancient towering trees.
In the center of this clearing,
You see a small pond shimmering in the sunlight.
You begin to walk up to the edge of the pond and you look down at the crystal clear water.
You can see beautiful fish gently swimming around and you notice that the water seems to be glowing with a soft magical light.
You sit down at the edge of the pond and dip your toes in the water.
Continue to breathe in the calm and peaceful energy of this magical forest.
Gently,
You can close your eyes at the edge of the pool,
Beginning to listen to hear if your inner wisdom would have any words for you this day.
Just being open to any insight that this special place might bring to you or just enjoying the peace and the comfort of this beautiful place.
Just allowing your body and your mind to be relaxed.
Just sit here for a few more moments.
Gently,
When you feel ready,
You get up from the edge of the pool,
The pond,
And you feel a great sense of gratitude and joy for this beautiful experience.
You know you can return to this magical forest anytime you want to.
You can connect with nature and find peace within yourself and your own inner wisdom.
Slowly,
You leave the pond behind you,
Walking back out through the beautiful forest,
Out of the ancient trees,
Out of the ancient trees,
Through the path that you came on,
The very edge of that vast and mystical forest,
Grateful for the time that you had,
Knowing you can take with you anything from this time that served you and let go of anything that didn't.
So take a deep breath in and slowly exhale one more time,
Allowing your awareness to come back to your body where it's sitting,
Gently beginning to move your hands and feet.
And when you're ready,
Slowly opening your eyes,
Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
